Who wants to own a macbook though?

I do, the trackpad is AMAZING for working at a remote location specially for editing images.

Only issue is that its *required* to upgrade to an SSD and 8GB RAM for it to hit its potential, but that ain't as expensive as getting that upgrade through Apple tho if you do it yourself.

Tbh gaming aside mac-books are by far the best looking, Easy to use and very very good performance wise. I use a Imac, lover the screen on it just 100% prefer them to PC now

By the time your Mac is capable of running everything windows can, you've replaced the OS and you're already running on PC hardware. Macs are just stupidly expensive and proprietary. When it breaks down, you send it to the apple store and some under paid tech over charges you to fix it. Meanwhile, you're without a PC for hours/days/weeks/months. If my PC breaks down (even my laptop) I can fix it myself for the cost of parts (which are always cheaper anyway) at home.

If owning a 'more attractive' computer is what does it for you, then more power to you. Personally, I don't intend to take my computers out on dates or anything.

Lets not turn this into a Mac V PC war, + All i use my mac for is music production and the odd game, + editing. + I have had it 1 year, and still runs wow on ultra everything at 60Fps stable, So it does what i need it to. Also iv never had a problem with my mac in 1 year of having it, Had my labtop for 6 months, Trojan virus fest.

But I do agree PC's are much better for gaming I just like my mac

Mac :

No virus

Not getting hacked

Not feeling in danger when going on suspicious websites

Handle many "good" softwares

Still have good performances

PRICELESS

I've never been hacked. I've never gotten a virus. Never felt in danger when visiting a 'suspicious' website.

If u can't help clicking ads about getting ripped in 2 days, or growing ur penis, yeah I think u might want to use "No virus" as a pro-mac argument (There are several virusses for mac by now btw, think the first ones came up around 2005, and there was no getting rid of them whatsoever since there was no anti virus software for mac either

Your just wrong.

The majority of viruses out there are designed to infect the highest number of people possible, Think of everyone you know irl - do they have a mac or a windows pc?

Viruses do exist for Mac but as I said, the odds of you getting people running mac os is a nowhere near as popular as windows so why would they develop something that can only infect the minority?

i lol'd

You don't just 'get a virus.' Every single time anyone has ever gotten a virus, it's because they put it on their computer. You can't randomly get a virus just by being connected to the internet, no matter what kind of computer you own. Some dip shit clicking on the ads for penis enlargement or downloading that attatchement from the email that says you won the lotto, those people are going to get the virus even if they are on a mac.

Not everyone is smart enough to avoid getting a virus, and buying a mac isn't going to make you smart enough. Mac = PC with an OS that isn't nearly as compatible with the latest and greatest software. Sure, you can get a mac that runs just as fast and reliably as a PC (because it's on PC hardware) but you won't get a mac that runs everything a windows machine will run, unless you run windows OS on your mac (at that point you should just buy a PC).

The biggest lie people tell themselves is that they are getting something better when they buy a mac. It just isn't the case. If anything, you're paying more because it has the apple logo on it and getting an inferior product (because of software incompatibility).

Tbh kinda like this

£1000 for a mac gets you, Top preformence on most games, Very good looking computer, Good sound quality speakers, Good multi tasking, nice Big clear screen ( Imac). + Also very low risk when it comes to getting a virus, however they are out there,

£1000 for a Pc Would get you Top better preformence than a mac on all games, ugly Computer, Decent multi tasking, Good screen, Easy to repair yourself, However more liable to get a virus.

Tbh It depend what you like I prefer mac however they will never take over windows because of the price argument.
