  • I've killed illidean, I've raped the lich king, and I'm going to give deathwing a good ol' fashion azz pounding, but the recent announcment of the mist of panderia has really got me thinking is it tyme to stable the old talbuk and vendor the gear? wow's changeing a lot, changeing so fast many of there true hearted fans can't even catch up. What's your guys opinon on this? should i quite or should i stay? no troll comments plz, I'm trying to be serious.

Its really your personal opinion, i quit about a month before they previewed the new expansion, and im glad i did. They're making wow less and less likeable and making it more suitable for younger kids, which i highly disagree on. Wow is changing for the better and the worse. You can keep playing, but things will be a lot different, and way more "EZ-MOAD"

I'm really excited for the 功夫熊貓

Ppl have hard times with change especially ppl in a certain age range. I'm hoping that ppl will realize what they value about this game and decide to either move on or stay on their own. Expansions will bring new and old blood back into the game. Those ppl that don't actually like the game have a chance to vent frustration towards this change entering their life. This is normal.

This game has never been hard. It has required more time in ages past though... (time != difficulty)

On the bright side, most ppl that are on the negative side of the fence will leave. Which will give us a population post xpac that values WoW for what it is rather than what they remember. A new WoW is coming, the old WoW's have come and gone.

    -Do what YOU want.

Right, it's not easy to give a serious answer thos this, because i'v seen a milion of these questions, lost a lot of people i loved to play with, and spent endless hours planning on how to quit, to never manage to.

You cant quit wow, unless you end up on another game, or you find something better in real life, that's the way i see it.

If you have the streght to just say : Okay, i stop playing.

Than you have all my admiration, i never made it.

    功夫熊貓 = Kung Fu Panda.

I wouldn't "jump the gun", right now. I would wait until the expansion is released, before you make your decision. That way, you won't have any regrets.

That is what I said... Kung Fu Panda IS the xpac. Anyways the monk gameplay with no autoattacks does seem amazing... also note that the attacks will likely not only hit harder (because of no white attack "fluff") but not be subject to miss if you are hit capped. Where as other melee will, most likely, still be subject to dimished dmg potential due to missing white attacks. Combine that with the racial quaking palm and you have amazing twink potential.

tbh i think wow needs abit of the vanity race and to introduce new prehaps childlike things, because the people who quit, quit because it was boring it became a chore and MOP is going to bring back abit of fun and take a break from all the hard coreness.

To cover a few things here. I'm not sure why all the rage about the new xpac. It's something this game really needs. World of Warcraft has gone stale long ago. We can all agree. WoW is not 'ezmode' Have you queued for a troll dungeon lately? Lot's of players can't even handle heroics. Pandarin are a little out of left field but they WERE introduced in warcraft 3. I for one am looking forward to the changes. It's not even about the new race itself. If you dont like it, don't play it IMHO. The class changes, breaking away from the cookie cutter talent trees, the pet collectors battle system, the PVE scenarios, the new bgs, the new raids, the new dungeons. IT all looks brilliant. We're only day 2 into the reveal. Keep an open mind. If you're going to quit, goodbye.

Looking at the proposed changes, it seems that endgame will be greatly improved at twinking's expense. Simplifying lvl 90 means that 1, 10, 19, 20, etc. will be oversimplified. On the one hand I'm excited for endgame potential (removing most of the grind to stay competetive?), but I will be dissapointed if I see my 19s and 20s (well, my 29s, 39s, and 49s too) end up with an even more reduced spellbook.

I have to say the biggest thing that's a turn off for this expansion has to be the new talent system.looks stupid.

We'll see how it breaks down once they add in spec abilities, but I take 'steamlining' to mean an overall removal of abilities which won't bode well for lowbies.

I welcome this new expansion as I wear my Sleeveless T along with open arms.

Here's a tip and my plan for the future. Buy diablo 3 as it will be releases way b4 mists of panda. Get sucked in. (it's diablo it easy to do). By the time mists does come out Ull be like "what's world of warcraft". Diablo 3 Ftw!
