Achievements Battle.net wide

Where can you see that ? o_O

I'll be very disappointed...
 
Yeah, since we can't pve, pvp ... cheeves were the last of the 3 obvious choices we had....i'm sad
 
Are they actually pushing this through? I sincerely hope they will change their minds about this, it would be the final nail in the coffin for Femortality...



Possibly for my WoW subscription as well...
 
Curious to see how it will end up working, they said only certain achievements will be account wide, whether it kills the point of level 1 achievement collecting is still up in the air I guess, hopefully not but what can you do

Reading everything they announced today, they are nerfing this game hard it seems like. Making it easier for all ages IE kids.

Well gratz to the guy that has 14k achievement points you are now #1 level 1 twink : \

Blizzard never said that they would make all the achievements account wide.

Just a few of them, such as raid, mounts and perhaps titles, this is my guess, nothing was specificly said about it.

Exactly what i ment, i'v listened to the whole blizzcon yesterday wile at the same time writing the thread down, and they really tried to Underline that only a limited ammount of achievements will be account wide.
 
Personally I can only see them making a completely separate tab for account wide achievements (which is still cool), some personal achievements might have a cross-over (maybe they'll make an account wide HK achievement which uses the total HKs from all your chars) but I can't see them completely merging character achievements as they are now for all chars.



Only time will tell, I urge you not to get too worried until we actually see it working in the beta or get an official announcement to the mechanics behind it.

They are becoming lazier, only 1 race now an xpac, still just 5 levels, no main villain it is just horde vs alliance which has been around forever, mini pet battles, dungeon challenges (which is just timed stuff IE bear runs in ZA), and dont even get me started on the pvp.

This expansion is so far a 100% joke to me.

And calm down there lord and Nesyla. I just saw they updated some achievement's account wide.

If they released two, you would probably be complaining because you wanted 3.

If they made it 10 more levels, you would be complaining because you wanted 15.

Horde vs. Alliance has been around forever ? where ? how ? please explain, i'm lost.

And no, if you took the time to check what Dungeon Challenge is you would not say it's like Zul Aman Bear runs.

Player vs. Player is one of the main focus in the next expansion, as Blizzard stated several times.

  • Achievements will now become available at the Battle.net account level. Many achievements will be shared among characters, including those for raiding and maxing out professions.

Yes not all achievements but so many that getting your level one twink achieves up would be pointless.

Here's me hoping Blizzard will think this one through more. It's either subjective to change (alot of change) or they can think about lowering that age recommendation. I dislike how the stupidity of the average player appears to become more and more obvious, Blizzard is changing their game so it will appeal to even the dumbest of all players. And here I'd think they would think about actual " hardcore" gamers as well... I suppose it really is all about the money.
 
I'v already stated this several times, but since the negativity keeps comming ill go thru it once more.



Yes, the changes comming can be apreciated or not, but 99 % of them are not 100 % sure and on the 1 % sure we dont have a lot of informations.



Yes, pandas are not in the World of Warcraft Lore, but let's face it, how many here actually care about the lore and or kept reading the whole quest text after Quest Helper Got on Curse ? How many actually read the Lore books ? I think very few did.
