EU Healer

Anyone got a healer on an EU server (horde) willing to healbot a future warlock?

P2P or F2P?

Horde used to have plenty of F2P Healers (including my Holydin), and they tended to range from good to excellent, but with the increase of 24's and 'huntardism' in general, a lot of them seem to have re-rolled and/or stopped; it's rather tiresome to heal when people don't go for the actual objectives, don't protect their Healers, or games are otherwise pointless. Nirax (spelling) (Undead Priest) is one of the best, and still around, and in general you're best bets are during CtA.

i support anything that isnt Hunter/Rog/Retardin

i made a Lock myself, and you have a dozen different skills, none of them really do much, you cant kill anything 1v1 and you're dead half the time

if youre good at tab dotting you'll lead dmg meter tho

best Horde priest is Balalaykin (spelling?) UD, (he doesnt play much anymore) and maybe Cherol (Tauren)

i havent seen i single Resto Shami, all Druids think they rolled Rog, dont go for flag and dont even heal themselves, there are a few holydins (i.e. Bloodelfownz) but ~90% are Ret and a few prot

Horde EU is severly underhealed =/

You're right about the Russian Guitar

, he's great, too. Horde used to have a lot of Healers (esp. Undead Priests), easily 2-3/WSG, in fact so many that they became a bit of a blur (no disrespect) but now many are seemingly gone. I know my reasons, going by e.g. the expletives in chat of some of the Resto Droods we used to have I am it seems not alone in them, and the end result is known.

I might be crossing some bounds here but games aren't just that fun anymore and downright depressing with 24's either noobing around or making your investment/effort etc. meaningless, as is currently the case with Horde EU.

One of the exemplary games in that regard was a recent midnight game, were almost half our team was a 24 (two rogues, 1-2 hunters, one warlock), the ally team had a 24 huntard, nothing spectacular otherwise - but we went 0/3 because basically only two (F2P's) were going for the flag and the FC - a F2P Protadin who had grinded out several Heirlooms - had to plea each and every time in chat for people to cover him, basically to no avail, hardly making people like him think ''gee grinding out those 'looms etc. really was worth the effort, let's do this again'' (and no, I wasn't that Protadin). As FC/DPS at least you can do stuff on your own (not saying per defintion effectively), as Healer you're more limited. My 'specialty', so to speak, is Healing FC's - if no one/too few care about the flag, there's little reason to queue.

But look on the brightside, the bonus of e.g. not having Posting rights on the EU WoW Fora (which would help organising) is that you don't see the rise of a self-righteous clique of petty bureaucrat-wannabe's like on the US Newcomer Forum, where people who go extremely offtopic themselves berate others from doing so, and say they're all about helping people when they farm newbies with their 24 Undead Hunters etc.

oh, that might've been just bad luck

the only 24s on Horde who play consistently that i know of are Socialist, Acrimony (both Rog) and Kheltor (Cow Pala, he made it because he was tired of being farmed by allie 24s/skillpatch huntards), in contrast there are so many alliance 24s that i dont even remember all their names

but you're right about being a healer, when you play random BG you basically have to play a class/spec combo thats gets done stuff all by itself, or you have to be very patient to get that one game with alot of good players in it to make up for the 20 games before that sucked

Horde doesnt lack much healers imo, at least at late evening/night, when there are more proper geared players. At least Horde usually have more healers than Alliance.

24s may be annoying, but sincerely, most of them suck (I got toons on both factions). Rogues that only pop to ambush when you're at 5% hp and dont know when to kick, Prot palas that only walk and seem they forgot that they can also heal themselves, healers healing less than f2p,etc....and few of them are BiS, plus some undergeared ones (I have seen 3 rogues 24 below 1k hp today).

What is really annoying is when your team average health is 800, or when the dps keep focusing on the dps instead of the healers.

True, time of day (or night) makes a difference, it's just that Horde used to have more Healers on average (I play both as well).

I can't blame genuine Starters for being in the F2P bracket, they have no choice in the matter.

Similarly, F2P Twinks can't play in other brackets anymore.

24's can, and it gets even more ludicrous when the same people preach about e.g. the 15-19 bracket yet noob around in the Starter account bracket (though your right on the description of most of their game-play, which is more annoying when they're on your 'own team' than on the other team, obviously).
