"the Hallowed" Title Discussion (F2P)

Just wanted to start the ball rolling on the achievements and titles.

Currently I think the only achievement holding us back is the killing of the HH in SM. We were talking in chat today and thought that a couple 85's queuing for the HH event, then having one drop, and the other summon a 20 in. Because you can do the HH as many times as you want, if we can figure out a system and a couple friendly 85's, we can rotate 20's into the instance and get us all the title. We're not sure if this will work but let's get the ball rolling because it will be here before we know it.

I've got a P2P and can possibly pay for 20s to get summoned in, but I've got no gold on the toon and have no intention of making some any time soon.

I will probably go for it everyday in hope to get the mount =)

Also trick or treat bags can give you the mount now aswell.

Good luck!

I'm pretty sure the mount no longer drops off the boss, I think you get it from doing the quest/queue that rewards a pumpkin bag of loot.

Though I believe the ToT bags can have it too.

Oh you are probably right about that, saves me alot of time =)

ToT bags ftw then ^^

I don't get what you base the HH mount being in the ToT bags on. I have only seen one unsubstantiated post on Wowhead that suggests it could be in there. Worth a try, if nothing else you might get more masks, possibly all of them if you're dedicated and RNG is on your side, but probably not.

They wouldn't even need to be summoned. Just run into SM GY.

Now how to convince some 85s to help... anyone know the min level? I think wowhead is outdated.

Seems nobody has actually done the Headless Horseman (HH) event in a few years, so let me explain to you guys how it works now. The only way to do the event is using the Dungeon Finder, you cannot simply zone into SM GY anymore. There is no longer a quest to summon HH. Instead, you are awarded a [Loot-Filled Pumpkin] for the first kill of HH each day. You can do HH event (via dungeon finder) as many times as you like, but you will only be awarded the [Loot-Filled Pumpkin] once per day. The [Loot-Filled Pumpkin] has about a 1-2% chance of containing the [The Horseman's Reins]. The [Treat Bag] you get from innkeepers cannot contain the HH mount, but may contain the [Sinister Squashling] or [Hallowed Helm].

Now, there used to be a bug that would allow lower level toons to get into seasonal events. It works by having 2 85s join dungeon finder for the event. Once the group is formed, one of the 85s must leave the group, and then the group leader invites a lower-level toon to the group. The invited toon simply right-clicks on dungeon finder on minimap and selects "Teleport to instance". This bug was fixed by Blizzard, but later the same bug re-appeared. I used this trick to do Coren Direbrew event last year on my level 60 twink. If this still works, it should work fine for HH on level 20 toons, since that is lowest level allowed to zone into Scarlet Monastery. The Coren Direbrew event was possible with level 40+ toons, since that is the lowest level that can zone into BRD. Nobody knows whether this bug will work this year for the Hallow's End event, but knowing how awful Blizzard is at fixing bugs, it more than likely will be possible.

Thanks for the update. It makes sense that it would work like the direbrew event. Does anyone know the min level to queue HH? I think for direbrew it was 84.

Does this mean 20's would get the loot-filled pumpkin or no because they joined late? It's probably like the Satchel of Helpful Goods and you won't get it if your invited in.

You could get the keg from Coren at one point. They fixed it so you can't now. People did get the now removed feat of strength emblematic, as low as 42. We have to wait and see what will happen, but I am guessing we will at least get credit for the kill if we are in the group and in the instance when he is tagged. We should also be able to roll need/greed for his rings for those achievements.

This guy - http://www.twinkinfo.com/topic/11170-emblematic-on-a-level-42/page__hl__emblematic__fromsearch__1

?

Back when he posted it, i had a chat with him... on his server, he got his heirloom refunded which means a Gm gave him the badges that awarded the achievement.

Yes we can get the kill for entering the dungeon. No you dont get a bag since you arent queueing for it. You are teleporting in.

We have NO chance at all of getting the mount unless blizz decides to let him drop it again.

Also, To find 85s just cross realm real ID queue=gg
