How much XP is awarded for completing your first random dungeon? I am guessing he got the XP as a reward for completing the first random in a day, multiplied by RaF bonus and possibly rested bonus as well. It's also unclear if the XP from last boss and random dungeon reward is awarded simultaneously or one after the other. At any rate, if this is true we should by trying to make a level 22 f2p!
Um, bad news. Seems you can't keep your exp locked once you join a group. See the thread below this one. I clearly had my exp off on my 19 warrior, and when I joined a dungeon it popped back on.

No one gets additional skills until 22 unfortunately, and I'd be surprised if blizz left any high level quests obtainable to 19 that reward enough to RAF that high. They're generally pretty good about that sort of thing now. . I'm also not seeing any overly abuseful talents to take with the 7th point. MM hunts could max 2/2 Careful Aim for +60% crit to aimed, rogues could max imp sprint or waylay, and desto locks could finally aftermath reliably.
Would be awesome for druids and enh shamans to get their 22 skills though.
I wonder if it is possible to use scripts to turn in a bunch of quests simultaneously and overflow from multiple sources at once, I know you could use a /run command to turn in repeatable quests like runecloth turnins. It would be easy enough to test if this can be done simultaneously and receive overflow from both. However I don't know whether there are even enough quests available at 19 that can be turned in in any location, such as with cataclysm's auto-next-quest feature.
Thirk's procedure calls for clearing everything but the boss on an 85. Theoretically no one needs xp lock, though getting both BoA pieces without an xp lock would be a huge PITA.
Probably not rested, started the character the same day. No heirlooms. Other than that it's correct.
As for Class in case this works: Gag Order 100% has its charms.
The last quest in SFK awards 1250 XP. Combine with 3050 XP for random dungeon Queues. This totals to 12900 XP with RaF. If Godfrey awards >1234 XP when 2-manned I can try to turn in the quest at the exactly moment and ding 21.
I was envisioning standing at the turn-in npc for Cities in Dust (3100xp) while simultaneously turning in a bunch of quests like Terrible Little Creatures (2200) that just have a complete button and no npc (except that that quest requires lv 20). What I don't know is whether the auto-complete quest feature requires you to be in a certain area to complete them. Right now I'm going through the wowhead quest tabs for all the zones to see how many of these are available to lv 19.
what dictates the level of a boss? Like sometimes he's 20, sometimes 21, etc. (uh, i think but i may be confused).
would killing a yellow boss (char level -2 to +2) with a lowbie give more xp than killing an orange boss (char level +3 to +4) with another 20ish toon? (no additional xp is given for red mobs)
no, i'm asking if going after a higher-level boss is worth bringing higher-level party members. i think going after a 23+ boss would give you 10% more experience than going after godfrey who is level 21. i don't understand how the whole group level bonus works, but thought i'd mention it.
we need the randoms xp, its more than half of what we need.
