No more achieves until level ten.

I was working on my achieves on my level one. The last achievement I got was on the 2nd of October during brewfest.



Long story short, and I confirmed this by rolling a new level one, achievements are no longer available until level ten. Yes, I can open achievement logs on my level one twink, but I am no longer able to progress. New level ones can not get achievements as of I would guess last patch Teusday.

You can still get them you just can't open the achieve tab until you get your first achie I discovered this on a lvl 5 toon I made on wednesday in order to kill him 50 times in darnassus lol

I truly hope I am mistaken, but after killing a troll warlock, multiple times, I was not getting any credit towards "That Takes Class" or "Know Thy Enemy." Unfortunately, I don't have any easy achievements to do to confirm/deny this. I ran into this issue today. On my level one with 1400 AP I can still open the achievement page, for a new level one I cannot.

Well, learned a pet on the new level one, and I did get the "Can I Keep Him?" achievement, and the achievement option opened up. So I may be mistaken, and this may be a false alarm. I certainly hope so!



Still not sure why I'm not getting honorable kill points towards achievements, but it does seem like I was sorely mistaken. I appologize for throwing up the red flag.

u probably didnt get any honorable kill points as the character u were killing was below 5.. :S

just confirmed this again in like 2 mins of making a toon and getting a hair cut lol. Achie tab is unavailable till lvl 10 unless youn gain an achie prior to reaching that lvl then its buisness as usual =)

Yep yep, didn't realize they had to be level five to get credit. I really should learn not to make posts whn it's late at night and I've had a couple adult soda pops.

yeah, this was a change they made back in 3.3.5 i think and had us all worried...but it's not a problem at all

Actually really does make sense. If you don't get any achievement, and just kill mobs for xp, your first achievement will be the one from dinging level 10.

So level 9 is the maximum level you can get to without getting any achievement points.

Actually we've confirmed my error.



It wasn't about how far you can get without achievements. I was mistaken when I thought I COULDN'T get achievements at level one. Turns out I was wrong. I was trying to kill a level two for honor, and they need to be level five before I can get honor from them.



Since starting this post, I've gotten 30-40 achievement points.
