  • Is it a good idea to start collecting tickets? or are we not going to be able to obtain the BoA leggings (when there released)? anyways anything people can share about this subject please do...

On another note..if u talk to the fortune teller u can get a +10% stam buff that lasts 2 hours. doesn't seems to stack though with my +15% stam increase being survival spec. might just be bugged for me though idk.. (in case you didn't know already)

Its a question as to whether we'll be able to convert old tickets to new tickets. I kind of doubt it personally, but they did allow a conversion when they made some big changes to Oktober fest a couple years ago.

I'd recommend doing at least the base turn-ins now for the rep, regardless of the tickets.

Current tickets will be useless in new DMF, greedy carnies. The timer counts down from time spent online, so if you're logged off, the timer stops. There are lots of buffs, I prefer the 1-10% bonus damage buff.

Thanks everyone. this is what i was looking for....

Blizz have never liked people stockpiling before new content. They like people to be on an even footing to begin. Personally, since I already did all the quests available to me, and can't get any more tickets, it's kind of a good thing. If it's possible to get the BoA legs, I will get them. We'll soon find out. It's not on the PTR yet, despite DMF being in Mulgore (at least on my server) right now. Also, the calendar does not show DMF on the PTR either.

Like I said, we'll find out soon enough.

I wouldn't delete those tickets just yet, yes more than likely they will be worthless, on the other hand whats it cost to wait and see?

Also the boas that may or may not be available from the darkmoon fair. While it would not surprise me if they required darkmoon participation, it is entirely possible that they will also be added to the appropriate jp/honor vendors in due time.

It costs you the time and items, a bag, some random green/blue loot, that you would get if you used them.

DMF isn't on the PTR, as mentioned and even if it was, PTR doesn't recognise BC or trial restrictions. We have to wait for it to go live to find that out.

Eh i wasn't advising that people go out and grind out new tickets, but if you already have them stockpiled how often do you really get a blue from them? Seeing as how they stack to two hundred the bag space is negligible, i would wait until the fair comes out on the ptr before i decided to delete them.

The only thing I'm currently worrying about, is the Darkmoon Island being a cata-only zone, much like TB.

I would love to say that if they are removing the old fair they will likely make the new one baseline, but they have developed a bad habit lately of taking out old content and making it new content for new expansions.

There's a 14 slot bag that horde might find useful, not the bag space of keeping the tokens. One bag slot is no big deal. The loot is random greens and the occasional blue. Farming blues from the new chests is far more efficient though. For myself, I was farming level 20 green boots at the time, although ended up getting them from Stocks.
