buying a guild

Hey, how much gold do you guys think it would be worth to buy a level 20 horde guild on a low populated server with 5 or 6 bank tabs (unsure if they are full or not)? I was thinking 10k would be my maximum offer, what about you guys?

Getting a lvl 20 guild w/ that many tabs would cost you 50k+ easily. On Lightninghoof I've had a running offer of 100k for a lvl 25 guild and no one has even seriously considered it. Actually I usually get a response like "you're an idiot if you think you can buy a guild for that...". It's certainly not impossible but 10k is a super duper long shot.

You'd have to out at least 50k, I have never heard of anything less than 60k gold.

Well 18 is not 25 ^^



Biggest reason I can see people wanting to buy 25 guilds would be for (for example) twink guilds wanting to get the dark phoenix mount & the lion/scorpion.



Also other stuff like having the achievements done for getting the pets & cooking recipes.

well they wouldnt get the phoenix unless the guild had done the raid cheevs before selling it, in which case it would probably be a lot



but it is on a low pop server, which usually have a lot different economies than large pop ones. and its 20 not 25....so who knows

just low ball them with the initial offer and if they balk see what the lowest they're willing to sell it for is

i paid 30k for my 25 guild than later sold for 80k.
