well, i decided to transfer my p2p rogue over to the ptr today to try out trasmog, to my surprise, each piece of armor requires exactly 10g to trasmogrify, its quite a bit for f2ps out there, but at least its possible xD

Blizz did say that the prices aren't final. But it would be nice if it did stay low.

I have more than enough gold to TM every item I own, including my fishing set. The main problem I encountered as F2P is that as a mail wearer, my BoAs are considered plate by the TM guys. Not an issue for P2P, but since I can't change my BoAs, that restricts what I can do as far as making my gear match. Not an issue at all for P2P, infact it means P2P can TM their BoAs to tier, PvP or anything really, and send it to their level 1s.

Sadly you can't 'mog Whites and Greys so clown-suits will remain (which is also a reason why the whole 'No Fish for you!' restriction on 'mogging is so silly - a lot of Tier gear is straight from Clownsville as it is).

Or if you actually read the blue post, mailing items strips them of their transmogrification.

While it may change, currently mailing items does not strip the TM. This is on the PTR of course and things may change before it goes live.

Bind on account items are already soulbound so that explains why you can send them to your alts. They may or may not fix this before it goes live, we will see.

I've always wanted to do this

they can not. They could for a brief time in 2012 but not since and any transmogged boa sent across the mail loses it's transmog.
