horde vs alliance pug bgs

Solo queue is especially horrible as alliance. Seems like the horde comp always has from 2-4 twinks, usually one of the fotm variety and alliance is saddled with pugs who are laughably bad.

Honestly just rotating 5 twinks now... game is bad, i leave instantly re queue up... most of the time i have 2 ques at once... its shitty, but what ever is best for me, hard to give a fuck about the community when its in this state. Tired of the lopsided hunter/healing games.

jade you should take a week or two off or something, when you are not having fun its time to put the game down and do something else for a bit m8.

Games are fun, just takes 3-4 ques, better to wait than play in a trash fest.. not even looking to just win... just won't tolerate trash... you want to, go ahead.

the problem with that approach is that...you will never be able to experience games like this.

you would have AFK'd out because your teammates are mostly levelers and the enemy team has a 5-man guild premade plus some other twinks. not only you would have missed out on an epic win, you would also have denied your teammates the good game (unless you get replaced by someone that is strictly better for that specific game)

100% agree there. When I zone into BGs and see the following - Hex with his surv pal Renamed, Toriyama (spelling) holy pally with his surv pal Idom and their destro buddy Destruct. Makes the whole BG lopsided and cheese.

Pretty much why I quit 20s, looks like Blizz has got a Skeleton Crew working on Retail, so all of this crap is just leaking down. Everything besides 9.1, like bugs and glitches are being put on the back burner while the devs are split between squeezing out 9.1 and pushing out TBC Classic. Seems like the Meta is GF'ed or soon-to-be GFed gear and Blizz just doesn't care enough about it to fix it. ilvl 59 HoA helm, ilvl 48 Legion Artifacts, broken gems, ilvl 44 Valentine's day neck, Covenant powers in lowbie brackets (now fixed), and now the broken ilvl 44 bramble staff. I was hoping to do some legit twinking after all the crap was ironed out, but at this point it looks like we'll be waiting at least 1-2 years before either the GF'ed twinks get bored or Blizz actually hires enough devs to work on the game rather than line Kotick's pockets

You know what fixes it?

By people creating communities/Teams & starting 10v10 pre-planned wargames on certain nights of the week.

But it seems like nobody on EU is interested to make this things happen... it's really, really sad.

I've recently joined the US wargames server and it is ABSOLUTELY POPPING atm... Why can't this happen on EU?

Blows my mind.

Most of the time when these 5 man premades lose a game to levelers, they are not trying. You can't be twice as geared and lose... unless you are just going for damage meters and looking for the most enemies to fight. Winning means very little in shadowlands as opposed to having a gloat chart... because there are no items to win... in BFA you needed crate gear... if you wanted a versatility set you had to win it... here you farm it or buy it... the incentive to win is zero.

with that kind of negative mindset, you will have a hard time improving your own gameplay.

maybe the ilvl 49 hunter in that game @andre fmo can step in here and tell you if they were trying?

i am 100% sure they were.

Blah blah blah, nothing wrong with my game play. That kind of talk is dumb as fuck.

"Hey Andre did you lose to some random meme builds and levelers!!??"
"Yeah got my ass kicked."

Even if that is how it went... an exception to the rule.

Again, my system is working just fine to get into good games... if there is a better way i'll use it. But right now, avoiding the car crash, seems to be the best instead of getting into a car crash and trying to live/make the best situation out of it.

The horde que most of the time is 50-60% less than the alliance (during my play time) its basically instant queues.

are you sure?

you have four 2 agi + 2 stam gems on your toon, weapon 2, wrist 1, trinket 1.

https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/bleeding-hollow/slackjackson

I am going to ignore the one in your trinket because people swap trinkets all the time and focus on the other 3.

together they give you 6 agi and 6 stam.

now, if you replaced them wit two +3 agi gems and one talasite, you would have 6 agi and 6 stam and 4 armor.

To be Honest, in my opinion at least, in pre-Shadowlands BG I open my 3rd eye, release every bit of fume and sweat to try my damn hardest to win just to get the crate gear that actually helps. But post-Shadowlands, since everything is much more different and open, winning in BG is subjective now, people do it to feel good when being top meters and winning, or just enjoy fucking other players. The rewards and items dont really matter that much anymore. Even the Mark of Honor currency for people that want to buy stuff with it became non-existent, its drop rate is just cringe. I really dont try in BG as much as I did pre-shadowlands, maybe because as @JadeFire mentions, there is no incentive anymore. I get it wrong to think negatively, but lets be real, there is no reason to que BG other than the flex and bragging rights.

For the TLDR: BG isnt as much compelling as it is back in Pre-Shadowlands.

Reading these philosophical discussions about the competitive aspects of a mini-game within another game is entertaining.

Here's a thinker - is there any reason to make these posts at all? What purpose do they serve?

Same thing could be said about the majority of posts in this site as a whole, they serve no purpose other than strangers telling other strangers their thoughts and or opinions on stuff in-game lmao

Sure, and it's not like this type of content is harmful or anything. But it just makes me wonder - there must be a difference between informative posts, which serve to inform others in the community, and public complaints, which are sort of like publishing a journal entry. Am I crazy to draw this distinction?
