EU+US Mark of Honor

I've been running a few random battlegrounds now and won a few. I haven't really seen the mark of honour yet and was wondering if it's just rng to get them.

So it actually takes ages to purchase heirlooms with honour?

You can't buy heirlooms with honor. Just the wsg vendor items

You can buy the http://www.wowhead.com/item=18606/alliance-battle-standard or there's a Horde version with http://www.wowhead.com/item=137642/mark-of-honor. There are also a few tabards you can buy. The Battle standard is something you have to buy on each character that you want to use it on. So there is some use for Marks.
Also with RNG, it's quite low at lvl 20 but as you go up in levels the chance seems to increase, so say at 100 it's almost a guaranteed drop, well that's what I found. The higher the level, the greater the chance to find a Mark.
