A friend of mine transmogged gnomish engineering-only goggles and then dropped gnomish engineering for a goblin engineering trinket. Upon relogging, his (gnomish) goggle transmog was removed, as he was now goblin engineering. At level 60, your engineering is maxed/capped at 375, with gnomes being the only exception to reach 390. 390 is also the exact level requirement to equip two WotLK engineering trinkets. If you were to equip these as a gnome and then switch to horde (or literally any other race) and drop to 375 engineering, would these trinkets still be enabled if you never moved or unequipped them? Or would they be disabled / removed like my friend's goggle transmog? I'm assuming they'll be disabled through one way or another, but was wondering if anyone had any experience with this.
