For the past 2 weeks, I have been getting hour long queues pretty much all day. Do i need to change my exp on and then back off to reset something? Idk what is going on with it.

Blacklist both AV & EotS. I've noticed that doing so has improved my queue times since 7.1 hit.
I've been playing a lot of endgame lately but last night I queued 3 BGs on my 29s and they were all 5-15 minute queue times on horde. I also play between 7-12 pm server time on Bleeding Hollow so that might be a huge factor as well.

queue priority is a huge factor which a ton of people don't seem to take notice of
if you aren't leaving the battleground immediately and requeueing straight away then you're going to get stuck in the back end of the queue and probably miss the next pop
