EU+US Any worthwhile items to grab while sub'd?

I'm just wondering if there are any worthwhile items / toys / mounts that I should be looking to get prior to going Vet again in about 10 days? Any help would be appreciated. What I'm looking for is stuff that would be useful for my 20's.

I already by chance stumbled across http://www.wowhead.com/item=127669/skull-of-the-mad-chief. I accidentally fell down a hole and while running around and found this so this will be useful at least while in Draenor.

I also did the horrible fishing grind last DMF and picked up a http://www.wowhead.com/item=142398/darkwater-skate as I have not been lucky enough to get the http://www.wowhead.com/item=46109/sea-turtle. :mad:

I did manage to get my shipyard up and running so I picked up all 3 x Loom rings this time round so that was good.

I'm just putting a call out to see if anyone has any other items in mind that would be worthwhile trying to obtain. I don't have access to Legion so I'm only looking for items accessible up to WoD.

Thanks for that. Yes, I already managed to scrounge enough gold to buy that neck chant for my 3 x Vet's. It's an awesome chant to have at low level as it procs almost instantly and hits pretty hard ;)
Yes, also got the http://www.wowhead.com/item=81354/reins-of-the-azure-water-strider. I've had this one for sometime now and very handy for Vets.
Bags........ I can only deck out my main Vet with the 30 slotters. Can't afford them on my other toons :(
And I have been picking up the odd quest reward for mogging. Cool thing was I had a level 50 Windwalker and I knocked out some bg's and managed to pick up the leg mog I wanted for my Misty. Does anyone know if the higher level bg brackets (ie lvl 60+ bg boxes can be mogged?)

hexweave bag still cheapest most of time. you can mog 100-109 pvp gear i think but they look shit.
the only cool high level tmog comes from odin quest. http://www.wowhead.com/item=143514/ensemble-chains-of-the-chosen-dead

Is this confirmed? If it's the case, what about weapons that drop from 100 boxes? I'm fairly certain 100's have their own bracket as I haven't seen any 101's to 109's in a bg yet but if a weapon could be moggable from a 100 box that could be quite cool. I haven't done many bg's at 100 but if the items truly are moggable it would be worth giving it a go.
Though Ally seem to suck real bad in the 100 bracket :(

edit : you are right though, it does look $hit!

Just a quick confirmation for those that may be interested - the gear from lvl 100 bg crates is moggable at lvl 20.

I can't test 101 - 109 but I'm assuming it's also moggable.

But as noted in this thread, it does look kind of ordinary :(
 
Love is in the air event for necklaces. Yes u can do this after Unsubbing (if we can at all), but you won't be able to apply mark of hidden satyr after unsubbing I think.

Luckily I'll have a few days left when Love is in the Air starts. ;)

Will be interesting to see if the neck can Warforge or Titanforge or something like that.

Will be good if all future holiday bosses scale - we could get some decent purple gear if it does.
 
Well, I just had one of the worst nights of bg's ever. Ally absolutely suck bad in the 100 bracket! All I needed was one http://www.wowhead.com/item=137642/mark-of-honor. I had 14 and needed 1 more to buy the http://www.wowhead.com/item=43956/reins-of-the-black-war-mammoth before my sub ended. I did have a heap of them but used them to gear my 100.
I don't know if it was just an off occurrence or what, but I'm glad I'm not playing 100's as Ally anymore. They couldn't score a r00t in a brothel if they tried.
There must have been a lot of trial 100's or something as very few knew how to play their class, let alone have any strategy. If I didn't need that mark I would have given up a lot earlier in the night. So long 100's, back to 20's I go ;)

This is just a final bump if anyone has any other items that comes to mind that would be useful to obtain before my sub ends in 24 hours. :cool:

One thing I am disappointed I never got was the http://www.wowhead.com/item=123974/reins-of-the-corrupted-dreadwing. I spent a heap of Apexis on Baleful items and upgrading them on my 100 but then it was too late when I realised there was a cool looking mount. :(

I was gonna say if you have a 110 you could got for the Chosen Dead sets from Trial of Valor (but it is a slow quest to complete).

Hm.. Any sort of expensive items that you wouldn't be able to buy w/ 10G cap.

The Chosen Dead sets look cool but sadly out of my reach for now.

And with regards to buying stuff over 10g, lol I've been snapping up toys and stuff. I brought all the toys from the little boy with the cart in SW lol. Brought a few of the cheaper mounts.

I would have loved to get more illusions for my transmog page. I did manage to get some of them as I have a lvl 90 Enchanter but I didn't go after the ones that needed rep or boss drops.

I may spend the last few hours scanning the AH for some items I haven't got the mog for yet.

I'll get the chosen dead set within a week. And I just dinged my a toon to 110 last week. I think if you have a plate user close enough to endgame or already at endgame, you could obtain it. Also if the worldquest "Vrekt" is up, you could farm the fragments over and over. Sadly I have not gotten that worldquest on my 110 paladin yet

Unfortunately I'm still capped at 100 not having purchased Legion.

I did notice one of the recent posts in the Vet Armory has the Chosen Dead set and it looks super cool :D

Will be on my list of things for when I possibly sub up again........ and purchase Legion......

You can farm it but it's a slow, slow grind. The elite enemy that drops them only drops 0-2 souls each kill and has a semi-long respond time.

Yeah it's a pain in the ass. I typically hide behind him away from other mobs and have a browser open on the side for the time in between

I did this on my paladin (after having around 750 souls from the raid itself)... Just started for the mail set on my shaman but I don't know if I have it in me to do this grind lol
