Back in Pandaria I found a Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger on the AH for like 300g... On a toon I didn't even have 300g on... I instantly tried to see if I could sell the armor off my back to get enough gold, but it wasn't enough. I was in a complete panic. So I had to log out and load into another toon as fast as I could. Turns out that character is not in the city and/or near an AH, so I have to hearth to the city. This city is the pandaria zone in which the only auctioneer requires engineering. My anxiety increased further as I rushed over to the portal. I then went up the wrong side of the building because I was too used to playing the other faction where the layout was swapped. At this point my anxiety was nearing suicidal (or in the very least chucking my monitor through my window). I then get to the portal, wait through a loading screen that seemed like an eternity. I then mount up at the bottom of the mage tower entrance, only to fall down to my realization that it was a ground mount and I had to scroll through my mounts tab to use a flying mount. I am now completely in a state of self acceptance that my entire life is just one bad joke and I'll be killed by a random flying projectile at any point when I go outside irl (which will be about a week). I get to the AH, find the stupid mount to my disbelief, and buy it faster than @Sketchbag can drop a like on the forums.
I then barely ever used the mount again, because honestly the 25$ store mounts just look cooler.

Not to necro, but just sold one of those mantles for 250g last night... got me wondering how everyone's been doing.
Are they flipping like you hoped with all the hype this week? Some will say 250 is low for those shoulders, but im happy with it given the uncertainty of the future in Classic. Given im on a low pop realm so it might be easier to turn a profit on better servers... also ok to be on a low pop cuz I just picked up a hotshots gloves for 20g just now. All good.
So how's everyone doing on all these finds a few months later?
