Like the above have stated, If you have an active account but you are unable to post on the forums (or even log in) then your account must be banned. But if you currently do not have an active account then you're unable to post.

yeah it sucks, i remember when my account was down for like 2 weeks and people were asking where i was, and i couldnt post they should change it so that anyone with an account, active or nonactive can post on the forums.

Yes.. but I can imagine how bad it'd be if the posting restriction was raised.



You know how bad gold/leveling spammers are in /2 ?

Gold sellers wouldn't need to jihack accounts to make posts with their keyloggers. By removing that need, there'd be nothing in the way of making hundreds of forum handles strictly for that task... and on and on and...



It'd get ridiculous pretty quickly...



That's not even taking into account the weekly 4chan/EBW raids we all know would take place.
