First, Merry Christmas!
I’m just really curious to see if people’s approaches to starting a new F2P from scratch vary wildly now that there’s more to do or if it’s basically the same. I just reached 20 on my first character and am debating what’s the next best step. I’m thinking...
1) Do whatever is required in Legion to get Artifact Weapon, then make sure Class Hall is upgraded before going for Relics.
2) Grind dungeons for BC socketed gear for my class/spec.
3) Do whatever is required in WoD to get Garrison and start profession stuff.
4) Gem gear
I don’t even know if I had to wait until 20 to get my artifact weapon, but I chose to because I wasn’t sure about iLvl or whatever, so I basically have a fresh 20 that did Exile’s Reach and then was excited to discover Chromie Time was available, so leveled to 20 in Outland.
What’s the usual path you take?
