EU What would be most likely best populated twink bracket in SL ?

19's for a while probably and then back to vets and f2p when 19 dies out again.
The only way I see 19 live long term is to give people incentive to play. PuG's will only last so long.
In the end, there will be a need for lots and lots of plebmades (good enough to rival the ones on classic, else it doesn't matter), tournaments (maybe weeklies and/or possible TC down the road). And of course, the bracket itself has to be good within the expansion (balance, mechanics, etc.)
Classic 19's will probably stay popular for quite a while and transition into TBC whenever that's released.
29's is also a bracket that should blow up in TBC specifically.
A lot of things in general is needed to keep retail alive, because Classic has already established itself quite well, and one of those reasons is because it's ultimately plug-and-play. Whichever bracket is able to queue with levellers (which will only be the f2p bracket unless something happens where they remerge xp on and xpoff).
Due to the fact every character made before SL prepatch of 44 and under will be eligible to technically be a 19 twink in shadowlands and the fact that the biggest bracket (which is vets/f2ps) will be level 10-
(and within the bracket 10-19 though yes it'll probably be vs levelers same as it is today for them except at level 10)
-there is definitely some potential for blizzard to play around with things and push 19s in the right direction indirectly.

Not to mention its now even split again with Classic as a lot of 35 year olds miss killing level 13 orc shamans on a rogue with rallying cry.

Some days you will have 20-25 110 players on in the 240ilvl minimum horde community. Usually when I notice this, I check the horde 20s community, and it usually has less people on during 110’s peak hours (950 members vs 175)
we have the benefit of being able to split into a few group that queue mercenary mode for days like those, to ensure good games. Occasionally the leaders will try to organize 5v5 arena bashes and 5v5(1v1s) once a week or so.
This is on NA.
My point is that 20s isn’t just the only active bracket in terms of playing with other likeminded players and also the queues. 110 now which will be replaced by 50 is a decent place to find friends or rivals to play with, with no danger of losing access to “regular” queues. 20s are always gonna be faster pops but it’s definitely alive in the 110 with community activity. Gotta consider we are a 1 level bracket unlike 20s too.
Sadly I can’t recommend another bracket in SL other than 10-19 and 50 however there SHOULD BE lvl 19 US wargames coming out of alliance stormrage guild Not Today ISIS so that is something to consider.
edit: I didn’t notice you tagged Eu, but I would assume Eu has a similar Legion twink population, and bfa would follow suit

Can´t see 19s being active. Not many reasons to play it other than nostalgia and it being the level cap in the lowest bracket (if it stays 10-19). Old chars dont mean shit due to lvl squish. 19s will be more like current 39s in terms of gameplay/abilities and it being the only "no mount" bracket also isnt an argument anymore.
F2p/Vet could be really active when it turns out to be lvl 10. Only WSG and AB available could be a blessing for q times. 10s look like todays 19s with slows and kicks. Might be fun.
Them merging f2p/vet into xp off que again is the only hope for 19s in my eyes.

To be fair I just checked Pala, War, Priest, Rogue, Mage and DH since PTR went live.
- Hpala gets Word of Glory and LOH - losing Talent
- War gets Whirlwind, Harmstring, Shieldblock, Pummel not losing any big things
- Mage getting CS
- DH looks decent
- Yea Priest ... just got a nerf that hurts and Rogue losing Sap is a big rip ... getting Sprint at least

Druid doesn't have stealth or Sunfire, Balance no Starsurge or Eclipse and therefore by extension no mastery, Resto no Swiftmend, Feral no Tiger's Fury.
Hunter doesn't have Concussive Shot, BM no Barbed Shot or Cobra Shot, Survival no Kill Command, Serpent Sting or Harpoon, MM Steady Shot doesn't generate focus. No spec has a way to generate focus.
Fire Mage no Pyroblast, Scorch or Hot Streak, Arcane no Missiles, Frost no Ele or Shatter.
Affliction Lock no UA or instant Corruption, Destro no Immolate, Conflag or Backdraft.
You already mentioned that Priest got shafted.
Outlaw lost Combat potency and Pistol Shot proc, Sub lost Shuriken Toss and Backstab, Assa lost Deadly Poison and Poisoned Knife. You already mentioned Sap.
Ele has no Fulmination.
Across the board no talents and all revives gone.
I probably forgot a bunch of stuff but those were the biggest things I noticed on the classes I checked. Didn't mention DK and DH because we can't really compare them to BFA.
Also in response to the earlier post, currently you can queue for everything at level 10 not just WSG and AB.

Ty for the summary. Just saw that Shamans losing Windshear aswell. I dont know, for me it still looks like the overall gameplay could be fun even though some classes lose their former key abilities (while most of them getting other stuff to play with). Meta gonna change. But yea seeing this changes of the other classes my initial statement with 10s looking like todays 19s with kicks and slows wasnt accurate for now
. As for BGs. I noticed you can view the other bgs (wasnt the case when I first checked Iirc) but it won´t let you q - showing that you need to grp q. But havent tried that. Also when I dinged lvl 10 with my DH it specifically only unlocked WSG and AB in the textfield. So probably just a bug that you can view more than those 2 bgs atm.

I believe the new SL 10s will be pretty popular, However i think we should look carefully at how SL 19s 29s 39s and 49s are like,
I always prefer to stay as low level as possible... (and honestly would have prefered to stay at SL 9 (if they allowed us to do BG)
However now im thinking 19s and 29s more and more... Because 10s got next to no skills.. which makes pvp less interesting(Possibly still very skilled gameplay)
Howevery at 19 or 29 there is more content availiable and dungeons, also there will be more skills for us to use...
Imo we should make twinks in multiple brackets.. and like this we can support atleast these 3 brackets, 10s , 19s , 29s,
Perhaps also above but usually the lower level twink brackets are the most active ones.
However the upside to making twinks in the 39-49 bracket allows us to have access to more old Raid content, and also timewalking content. (possibly legendaries)
As things look right now, im going to make a lvl 10, and a lvl 19 to begin with.. and see how both brackets do. ^_^

This bracket would be super fun imo... Because its the old 10's and 19's ofcourse... and it will be unmounted BGs .. and ofcourse without any availiability to go to all the zones with all the wild stuff... So a very unique bracket... believe me with all of us we can make a difference... if we wine enough ^^ over enough time.. we will get a bracket 1-9... Lets make a plan for this guys..
