'Who's the best (class x)?' threads give zero information about gameplay. People end up write the names of their own friends mostly or worse than this some of them write their own names as anonymous to these lists. So the real question is Definition of GOOD player.

-Bringing shit ton of consumables to bg's
    -Team communication&team play
    -Best in slot gear
    -Jumps
    -Awareness
    -Hacks&Ddos

    Let's discuss...

    Lots of situation things i.e
    -keeping rogues/druids in combat
    -cross cc
-focus kicks/focus or mouse-over casts for less predictability
    -utilizing roots/slows as a CC
    -kicks
    -positioning
    -preventing quick caps

A big thing is awareness of druids/rogues/repicks.
See lots of 20-29 fcs suicide into FR not aware that people are ahead of them for repick and both rogues + feral are in stealth or vice versa with all stealthies out / nowhere near them and they slowly cross or turtle in GY anticipating a repick

That's a very nice one. For example, a healer keeps eye open for preventing re-stealth situations and uses DOT instead of spamming healing mindless or a warrior uses taunt for this.

We can add fakecasting to this for casters.

I think awareness is the most important thing for general player quality.

If that's your definition of 'GOOD' player, that's an idea too so i respect. I want to ask you, Do you find yourself GOOD in low lvl pvp? Or Do you find yourself less shit than others?

A good player for me had the following traits (some of which no longer are applicable due to the current PvP template)

    - You are a threat alone. No need for a premade to change the scales of a battle (less applicable now)
    - 110% BiS (less relevant now)
    - Use of tinkers / consumables / toys that I do not know of
    - Flag kiting
    - Jumps (fake jumper, ToT jumps, GY jumps, etc)
    - Good kicker
    - Fake caster
    - Proper use of GY farming
    - Is a member (or higher) on Xpoff/twinkinfo

The way I can tell someone has actually become good in my eyes, is that your name will jump out at me when I scan the scoreboard before the game starts, and get mild tachycardia.

But hey, this is a subjective term and will vary depending on each person :)

A good player doesn’t worry about being “good”. Impressing others isn’t high on their list.

    /cheers

Plays objective. I don't mind losing if we made an objective effort. But if my team is mostly running to the first person they see, die, repeat.. It can trigger me once in a blue moon. I don't want those Mid baddies as my neighbor!

for me a good player is one who follows my commands, anticipates my dominance , and creates plays themselves

i see every wsg as a kind of puzzle that is constantly changing and you are one of the pieces... fit in the puzzle or become a useless piece

another big one that gives away a good player is carrying a random wsg as soon as you hit 10 with zero gear zero consumables that you join late where the other team is dominating and up 1-0 while playing across the ocean from where the server is located

So many things tbh. A good player for me is a player with more skill than avarage, a player who always play objective, a player who is aware of their surroundings and know whats going on in a game, a player with great patiance who doesn't give up, a player who has a good attitude and a player who is willing to help others.

I have a totally different respect for players who lack one or more of these things but the best of the best has them all for example: I don't have the same respect at all for players who got the skill but constantly trashtalks other ppl, those ppl are skilled but not good if that makes any sense.

    1.
-Not 24/29 its like playing dk at endgame, its for simpletons.
Rest is alot of different stuff.
-When to use what spell or cd.
-when to break off from the team and when to huddle for warmth.
    -Terrain awareness and shortcuts.
    -Predicting and predictability.
-Ability to maximize damage or healing output when neseccary.
    Etc etc

    -Game sense and knowledge.
    -Being able to multi-class.
    -Able to min-max.
-Vocal, good at communicating with team.
    -Adaptable.

Mix this with a down-to-earth personality, and you'll have some of the greats.
