What is the limitations of twinking? Have I been playing for so many years in the wrong direction?

I get it, not everyone can pay for the game because of budget, but is it really fair for the p2ps to limit their game conscience due to others limitations? all of us get funding somehow or somewhat. In my opinion there are hustlers to make ends meet and there are bums that just gave up and will beg to be carried and pull down those that are wanting more for their own(lazy) benefit. I have been a bum before so I'm not judging but I am one of the op toons due to my endeavor. Punish me on even ground, as I said to level 70's before, I can always get to your level, but can you get to mine?(level 20)

The big limitation in my eyes is pvp, twinks queue separately.
I had to switch xp back on to access some content, shadowlands I think.
Other than that I love twinking.

Twinking was never really a choice for me. As you stated, not everyone can pay the game due to budget. But once upon a time, I used to pay monthly during TBC, till I just couldn't. The limitations, for me at least, is the endless solitude and isolation I felt for awhile playing the Starter Edition all the way back in Cata.
There was no way to trade, party, whisper or shout etc. Obviously there are reasons to this but back then it made me feel like a ghost. I thought I was the only one who played WoW like this, till someone pointed me out about XP-OFF. And after seeing how levelers treat us twinks, that isolation and solitude is now reinforced with monotone silence knowing full well that some people will be mad for absolutely no reason. And a recent example was me doing an instance in MoP Remix and people called me a "cheater" for one shotting bosses. Got kicked out in the end for "ruining" their immersion.

p2p dont have to limit anything. they can be at level 29, access the auction house for easy materials and anything else they want. level 29 is the sweet spot because the battleground bracket is 20-29, at least this was the case when f2p were put in the xpoff queue.

other limitations might be if you are taking part in a tournament, they might have some restrictions on what you can use, but nobody is forcing you to join tournaments.

so no, there are no limitations for p2p.

A bit late to this party, but had to chime in. I couldn't agree more. If isolation is bad now, it was worse before. As a f2p (or vet) other players usually have to choose to take the time to talk with you little by little, inefficiently. And since most players are looking to get somewhere to do something quickly, it rarely happens in open-world.

When it comes to being kicked from groups, it's a source of fascination for me. I've seen one group embrace a twink and applaud the speed, and the next run with a different group, that same twink gets booted. One newer player asked what had happened. In other games with a similar level of power boost that twinks possess, there may be some grumbling, but practically no one gets kicked. Wow is the only case where I run into a large amount of people who actively take action against players for playing the game in a way they either don't understand, or disapprove of.
