What bracket is best for a mage?

Thinking about making a mage next. What bracket do they have the most survivability & damage, and what race & spec do you recommend? I play 29, 39, & 49s right now. 39 and 49 arcane seems to be ideal.

Trust me, you may get bored of a lower level mage twink. I suggest going 59 and onward. Fire is really good in 70-79s.

Mages are one of the specific classes that I would say is more enjoyable the more buttons you have. 59+ is where I find it the most enjoyable when solo queuing.

19 mage is strong, but it's highly team dependent, and it gets rather dull spamming missiles over and over and over. Everything dies so fast that arcane blasting is almost never an efficient spell to use. Wargames are different though.

I’d have to say 70, atm all specs are viable and overly strong with fire being insanely face roll

As mentioned, 59+ you have a lot of key moves that let you shine, but I don’t like to count out 19 mages as not enjoyable. Even if solo queuing, with the right gear setup and field awareness, you can still go on wrecking binges. I pop on my 19 mage here and.

From my experience in having mages in almost even bracket, I can vouche for 59s, 60+ 69, 70, 80 a lot of other classes get really strong and it’s hard to keep up unless your fire, and lastly 101s and 110s.

If I were to have to pick a bracket where mages shine the most WITH BIS GEAR, would be 110, they are close to unstoppable.

If you want a quick OP not so much gear dependent bracket that mage shines, 19s

I’m currently obsessed with my 59 arcane and 101 arcane atm tho because they are both decently slept on brackets
