At the moment, I’m trying to get enough marks of honor to get some of the TW gear on my Paladin and Monk.
Not sure what other items to get before Shadowlands or even 8.3!

Tower defence doesnt count currently as the achievement is bugged unfortunately. I'll get it eventually

Well, currently it seems that Blizz is aware of the problem and is "collecting data" before patching it. So we just need more people reporting it as a bug, so they get more data

Bless you guys for reporting this and raising awareness. Stealth-recapping under the noses of several defenders is one of my WoW life's greatest joys, and it's been irritating to no end that the dozens I've pulled off these weeks have not counted on this character. I hope they fix this soon, as it would be one of the few remaining things to keep me playing AV, now that I have nearly 2,000 TW Badges.

Once / if this this fixed, I think that we will get credit for the defense we have previously done, since that number is being stored in statistics

Well, the problem is that the towers you def in Korrak's Revenge are not counted in the statistics atm ... meaning that we have no way to make a request to get the achiev even if we have defended more than 50 towers ...
I can make an album with my 50+ tower def if you want
it'll still be more than the 2 def which are registered in my stats ^^'

, mine are being stored, those 5 (now 6) are all from Korrak's Revenge since my mage wasn't alive back when we got AV pops

Ye, with the mount change and now this, prob a silent hotfix, (I found the statistic this morning so didnt check before then)
But the achievement itself still says 0/1

There is a difference between Ally and Horde guys. For ally chars, the number stays static even if you defend towers. For hordes, it actually counts the towers even tho you don't get the achievement once you hit 50.
Also, Frostwolf perfection (winning with all towers and captain alive) and Alterac Valey All-star (Gy defending not counted) is bugged for horde (not sure about ally as I have gotten those on my ally char before).
Damage control is still not working for neither fraction, even if you only attack players and no mobs/pets (I guess that has something to do with the scaling, even tho I have gotten past 1 mil a couple of times, which would have been 300k + even without the scaling)

I just checked mine, my statistics for tower defense still say 0. I play Alliance.
Also, what did you mean about "the mount change"?

I'm at about 13k or 14k casts. I farmed for days before I installed an addon to track it but for sure logged at least that much.I'm currently at around 11k casts without anything looted :/
And 11k casts, it's a bunch of time!
It's quite painful as it's one of the last things I need from Argus, besides Invasion Obliteration.
I've been working on that while farming keys, at about 900.

Just finished the last fishing friend I have been putting off since it was introduced.
Ever since I faction swapped all my of flight points got fucked up and my toys wouldn't let me relearn them all so I've been taxiing myself around Kalimdor and EK getting all those back and finishing off exploration achievements I left behind. I plan to finish EK then move onto Northerend and Pandaria.
Then after that I want to get back to smashing out more reps and doing some more fishing.
What are you guys up to?

A few days away from unlocking Vulpera and then probably another week and a half for Kul Tiran. Might consider a Vulpera race change or two and Kul Tiran druid rerolls after that.
