What I was getting at, is that no one complained about the Hat; except him, an Ele Shaman, once a rather overpowered Interupt Solo caster that was #1caster (joint with Locks, I'll admit) and could still take an insane amount of damage, however, a NOW utility based support caster, outclassed by other classes in retrospect.

Ehh the only people that are happy about it being nerfed are the people who hadnt gotten one yet, I have a ticket open right now to see if I can get anything changed about the extreme nerf. It was an OP item and deserved a nerf but not to the point where you get it and want to immediatly delete it. It's a rare hat, takes time and luck to get it deserves to have the same stats as LFH if not better.

I had it on 2 toons. I am happy about the nerf. Therefore your point is invalid.

this was literally so much easier to get then the old fishing hat. i hated to have to take time off of work or bring my laptop to work to fish. then some moron goes and ruins something that takes work but is easily obtainable for everyone. thanks dumby

So that means you actually have to put effort into something and be dedicated instead of do something for 5 minutes a day for an op item. Sounds like too many people want BiS for little to no effort. If this hat gave the same stats as the current LFH, I'd be all for it, but sporting something with an ilvl identical to level 70 gear is too much. Everyone arguing and comparing other items which have been in the game for 4+ years already are just being silly.

I agree! I didn't have it thoug! I wanted it bad! And I know I would of have benefitted hellalot from it! But at the same time, I'm glad it got nerfed. Aaanyways, imma still fish for it. It goes well with my RP sets!

Well that's good. It wouldn't be a fair system if someone was banned because of their intelligence or lack there of because of a mod/admin who may suffer from the same flaw.

IMO the nerf on this item was a good thing, I had one, got it first try on a level 10, and as cool as it was being lvl 10 with 1k hp it was far to OP, it became one of those items where if u had it u loved it, if u didn't u hated it.



However, a nerf to 3stam is a little harsh given the time it can take, my decission would be to make it a kinda go between from goggles - LFH with say 11/11 stam/spirit so if u can't find the time to get a LFH you still have a hat that requires some effort to get, and wont make u feel to crippled compared to others.

I didn't have any problem with the stamina on WBFH as that is easily dealt with. The stat on the WBFH that gave me a reason so slightly dislike it was the 300 armor which reduced all physical damage by a large amount however spell casters would be unaffected by it. Which would result in arcane mages being even more powerful compared to other classes.

The 300 armor reduces the physical damage by a additional 7-11% (depending on armor before the head) so it still isn't to big but definitely noticeable.



But it's still sad to see it nerfed in such a extend.

Yeah exactly, the stamina was never an issue. The 300 armor and 40 spirit was causing an imbalance, nobody can argue that.



I think most people complaining are the ones who used it and the ones liking the change are those without it or those who actually have been playing the bracket lately.
