EU+US Weapon Scaling as a rogue & more (Patch 7.3.5)

First of, let me explain why I chose to test out rogue, and not much else. I simply don't care all too much about other classes, and the numbers seem so minuscule (we're literally talking 1-2 numbers in difference), for me to bother about other classes. So as long as you equip weapons that are meant for your class and spec, you're good to go. I.e. not running around with int mace as Outlaw rogue.

*All tests were done VS a clothie (Disc priest).

Outlaw Rogue:

Epic (Replica Blood Guard's Cleaver):

Main-hand melee normals: 68
Main-hand melee crits: 102

off-hand melee normals (34 invasion dagger): 33-34
off-hand melee crits (34 invasion dagger): 51-52

Saber Slash normals: 219-285
Saber Slash crits: 427-428

Run Through normals: 609
Run Through crits: 913-914

Pistol Shot normals: 166-167
Pistol Shot crits: 249-250

Random blues and BoA's had exact same numbers, except for int weapons.

-ilvl 29 Invasion axe
-Shadowfang
-ilvl 27 BG axe & sword
-Cruel Barb
-Thief's Blade
-Battleworn Thrash Blade
-Venerable Mass of McGowa
-Venerable Dal' Rend's Sacred Charge

Subtlety Rogue:

Epic (Miniature Winter Veil Tree):

main-hand normals: 35-36
Main-hand crits: 53

off-hand melee normals (34 invasion dagger): 17-18
off-hand melee crits (34 invasion dagger): 26-27

Shadowstrike normals: 381
Shadowstrike crits: 572

Tooltip:

Gloomblade normals: 301-302
Gloomblade crits: 452

Tooltip:

Eviscerate normals: 304
Eviscerate crits: 455-456

Tooltip:

Shruiken Toss normals: 74-75
Shruiken Toss crits: 111-112

Random blues and BoA's had exact same numbers, except for int weapons.

-ilvl 34 invasion dagger
-ilvl 27 BG blue dagger
-Assassin's Blade (ilvl 21)
-Scout's Blade
-Tail Spike (ilvl 21)
-Balanced Heartseeker

So the general idea is to equip proper items according to class and spec. As long as you do that and keep a moderate item level, you won't see any difference in stats.

Thanks to @Bubbie for helping with the testing.

Rip, got none of these. Guess I'll test BG Blues.

So why is the tee considered BIS, I'm confused lol

Its not anymore. BiS is the highest ilvl of the correct weapon type. Assassination/sub rogues is going to be an ilvl 27 dagger from the BG boxes and outlaw is going to be ilvl 27 1h weapons from BG boxes. The dmg is the same - so the only diff is ilvl. So ilvl 25 weapons from dungeons are solid too.

Well guess I now have two tree daggers for dapper n swagger

Would be the same as any other dagger, just with rather poor ilvl. So technically better than the epic winter veil tree, as it only has ilvl 1.

According to tests with other weapons it's pretty safe to assume it would perform the same. The only reason I'm using the epic rn, is that I have no item that will put me over a threshold that will increase my stats. My Legion Invasion weapons weren't transmogable (idk if they fixed this yet). So it's just for swag really, and the fact that I can mog it.
