i did some data mining and in 8.1 the Classic WB drops would have been 360base ilvl for 119...380 for 120
there will be a gear catchup mechanic of some +ilvl in 8.1 for 120for dungeons etc but not a single adjustment to 119 ilvl with this one exception beeing these event bosses
so after every patch and catchup scaling these item drops could reach insane ilvl for 119 comes the next years anniversary event.
assuming the past ilvl improvements over the course of an expension next year we could of have easily over 100 ilvls on the drops we got now.
So enjoy the items for 1 year and prepare to ride the luck train once again and then you would be fucked if you dont get drops because as of patch 8.1 datas no other catchup mechanic will apply TW ilvl and normal dungeons +chest drops all stay the same. so maybe we have to lvl many 119s next year to get a higher chance to deck out one charakter with full gear...and mail wearers will be even more f*cked because there is no full set of mail from these bosses.
