How do prot warriors fair in the 29 bracket or any warriors for that matter. I main a prot warrior at 90. It's not always ideal but I enjoy it. Was curious what the general Consensus is here. I haven't played in the 29 bracket for a long long time (bc era). I'm sure it's not nearly the same anymore. Lol. Thanks for your feedback. Cheers!
 
Arms warrior, can be SUPER overpowered in arenas, it's mainly their dot I think that does the damage, I can't really tell. Usually if I see a 29 warrior I just try to crap on them before they can do enough damage though.
 
Tested prot a few days ago. Devastate hits for 300-400 (costs no rage / no cd), fill in with heroic strike every 3 sec or so for another 100 dmg. Very consistent damage but comes short to arms due to little burst and execute requiring 30 rage (believe me; this is annoying).
 
Not nearly as strong as monks (both ww and bm) or druids due to little mobility and no ability to heal themselves. Please do prove me wrong tho. Sure they can do well in the right hands.
 
if you are looking for best mele prot is out, in fact just to be acceptably effective you are probably going to need grandfathered gear, now I easily come in to the top 3 when I just straight dps, however thats got more to do with constant sustained dps than actually killing things.


Prots good at sitting on healers or slowing FC's, not much good for other things
 
Awe dang. That kinda kills things. Maybe enhance shammy then. Lol. I'm sorta big on melee but burnt out on rogues.
 
Now Enhance.. that's a good choice. I've got one of my own and I'm happy to say they're viable at low level twinking (finally). Sadly they do rely heavily on double EF, but with that comes one of the strongest sustained DPSers in this bracket.
 
Ah ha! ;) I think shaman it is then. Been a while since I've played 1 anyhow. Is there a faction that needs more players atm. I'll roll on that side if so.

Meh, factions seem pretty even at the moment. If you want my personal opinion on a race.. Tauren. 13 extra stamina (338 extra raw HP), 2% increased crit damage/healing, and an AoE stun. Couple the stun with an AoE slow, targeted nuke/slow, an interrupt, AND a purge and you're one insane CC monster.
 
So I've been hard at work leveling my shaman. (Lvl16) So far it's been alot of fun. I am mostly in boa gear. Some leather. Mostly mail. But I'm still not sure as far was gear I still need to farm for or get. Are there any shaman gear guides or a place I can look them up at. Obviously I'm shooting for BiS but not sure what BIS gear is.
