FAQ Used TCG Codes and Classic WoW

Driving today I had an interesting thought come to mind about the Classic WoW release and potential loop holes.

Has there been any information divulged about the state of the Trading Card Game rewards traded at Booty Bay? Was even TCG loot codes a thing back in Classic?

Finally for the opportunists out there like me, could our OLD (used on retail) codes work a second time on the Classic servers?

TCG came out at the very end of vanilla. like 2 months before TBC released.

It's reasonable to go check "just in case", but don't get your hopes up... even after the TCG released, redeeming codes at Lando didn't happen until BC. Back in vanilla you had to use their website.
