Hello everyone,
I have spoke to another gm and that gm said she wouldn't delevel me. She went into my mail and told me I recieved 5k. She then told me that she saw every time i spent gold to toggle xp on and off. This was apparently a "hiccup" on my end because i did something with xp toggled off. So understand what I am saying and please for whatever reason you are using to toggle your xp on or off, proceed with caution!

I had a long, long chat (like over an hour live chat) with a friendly GM back during the Free Weekend after I had asked them to do something that they had discretion whether or not to grant my request about =ahem=. Anyway the GM granted my request and pretty much the first thing he said about it was that he appreciated my honesty. I had basically said "I messed up, entirely my fault, really sorry, I know you guys are busy," etc.
I think the GMs have pretty good bullshit detectors on the whole, and they don't like being tricked.
So since it's already not looking good, and you don't have much/anything to lose, if I were you I would try being completely honest, say something like "look I was doing XYZ, because I really love my toon, I put a ton of work into him, and I felt so sad that BGs weren't happening anymore. I was trying to find a way to keep playing, but I understand I shouldn't have done it that way. I promise not to screw up again, if you will please restore my toon to 29, I would appreciate it so much."
You know, basically a bit of humility, mild grovelling, and most of all honesty.

I know a few people doing this and its why I just made a few basic geared vets and unsubbed. Totally not worth either getting banned or leveling one of my precious twinks. Hopefully someday blizz will fix things but until then I can be a one button hero.

Editing to add: I played with a long time good friend last night and he was doing this. We got into a bg and there was no indication that his xp was on or off. It took a cap in wsg to figure out his xp was in fact off. If it wasn't he probably would have leveled.
