I’m not much of a TV or movie person, and I’m looking to brush up on some. What’s your favorite / top movie pick that you would recommend? Could be popular, indie, underrated or whatever you like. Any genre.

    My fellow Browncoat!

Huge fan of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. More modern, you say? Mad Max Fury Road is an all timer. Atomic Blonde was ton of fun, though not really "good".

Well, heres a short list of what I have been watching for the last few years, I used to be like you, I negelected this aspect of entertaiment:

    TV Series
Game of Thrones - at this point there are very few people that dont know about it.
Breaking Bad - a highly inteligent chemestry professor that has some bad luck in his life
Better Call Saul - its related to Breaking Bad, the action takes place before Breaking Bad. I recommend watching Breaking Bad before this.
Narcos - the first 2 seasons are about Pablo Escobar and the last one its about Cali Cartel.
The Americans - In my opinion a very underrated TV Series that takes a look into the Cold War.
Homeland - Another underrated TV series
House - An extremely arrogant diagnostician who loves humans but doesnt want to interract with them.

Movies, a short must watch list in my opinion:

    Bridge of Spies
    Sicario
    Matrix all of them
    Fight Club
    Shawshank Redemption
    Green Mile
    Pulp Fiction
    American History X
    SAving Private Ryan
    Fury
    Forrest Gump
    Reservoir Dogs
    The Lion King

Not exactly. The movie is better, just adding the show since it's not bad.

    And streaming. ;)

Could always try sitting through all the MCU movies, and farm easter eggs like a good little nerd.

Daredevil was great too, just finished Green arrow, very drawn out but was pretty cool too.

Cant lie when i say i mostly watched daredevil because the punisher was in a couple of scenes :D

I really enjoyed the fight scene choreography & camera work in the first season. I remember the quality dropping off for the subsequent seasons.
