Thought this subforum needed a little bit of "spice". And as proven recently by [MENTION=24865]Razqt[/MENTION] in the 29 subforum, these type of threads tend to do just that.
So post your own top 3 of each class, or of whatever classes you want to. I'm curious to see your lists.

And remember guys, there's bound to be differences in opinion here but please try to keep it civil.

My list is going to be of the currently active players. If you want to make a nostalgia type list with "best of all time", feel free.
If I've listed less than three people it's because there aren't enough notable people playing that class.

I would love to be able to rate PvE, but alas every time I raided with you all I ended up being top 1 DPS/tactical mastermind/winner (which wasn't that much really).

Ofcourse times have changed and I doubt I could keep up with any classes now Fury is garbage and all bonus armor ever is gone (though Strength-gemmed prot still does decent)

When you raided with us nobody had found out how to gear for wod yet. You happened to have the highest ilvl which in turn gave you the highest damage. Nobody knew why at the time.
Since those days in early wod the standard dps has gone up significantly as we've discovered how to gear correctly. FYI fury warriors along with many other melees are still toptier.
"Tactical mastermind" is pretty funny. You refused to join voice communication and I remember you getting MC'd on felmyst multiple times as a result. Most of the strats we used on bosses then (which are the same strats we still use now) were invented by me. Such as pet taunting on brutallus or rogue "tanking" on mother sharhaz. Not that anyone should ever be impressed with anyone coming up with strategies for pve encounters, since you know, it's pve.

Also it would be pointless to rate individual people in pve since individual player skill almost isn't rewarded in pve. (Extremely low individual player skillcap)
Pve is about raid synergy and preparation which is impossible to put on a top 3 list unless you rate whole guilds/raid groups.

I'm not sure if it was in WoD or not though (I think it was earlier, I remember the DPS being around 2.5-4k, that was after squish but pre-WoD I think), was the instanced buff already applied back then? I've always used Cloak fo Darkness so not sure if my itemlevel was any higher than others.

The true kings of 70 PvE are already gone anyway; my guildies, last online, 5 years ago . We cleared both Karazhan and Zul'Aman, now that's fucking pro.

I'm pretty chill. Just read your post and happened to have the first hand knowledge to call bs on it. I guess you were trolling though so nvm I guess.

Ya ilvl boost was active from wod prepatch. Most of us were running really low item level because of the stat squish. We had no idea that ilvl mattered so we used a quite a bit of 115-130 stuff to get higher stats.
