My best guess would be that after people race changed to goblin, somehow people got lucky with a GM by sending in a ticket like "oh I went goblin and I wanted to go back to the starting area to get items or experience the lore", idk, whatever excuse you wanna use. I feel like that's too simplistic though.
And even if Original chooses to keep his method a secret, why be a dick and report him? It's not like the item is somehow grandfathered or whatever. I don't understand people.

Thats a long way, not garsnteed snd may waste ur time. Have one of ur accounts create a lock and level it up with herbs and mines to 45 or something. At this point, the lock can and is able to use his demonic summoning gate. As a goblin, you enter the first zone, do all the quest as you were a goblin. Not hard at all, gg, hf with ur reward. I suggest your warlock should stay at the place quests firstly begin. Because i do not know for sure, and noi dont have a lock =|

I'll give away my method..
I faction changed my rogue from aly too horde and choose goblin, as the RaF summon doesn't work i put a ticket to bliz saying i got teleported out at lvl 1 and now i want to complete the quests again, so that's how i got my summon into the starter area. on the rogue quest to test eviscerate you might get stuck so all you have too do is unlearn whatever spec you are then do the quest spec less. also along the line you will get into some phasing issues so put a ticket into bliz to complete the quest fro you as you are getting phased. hope this helps.

Tried for around a week on my rogue before my ban, shared what I knew with some people on here - funny to see that people are actually getting positive responses from GMs now.
Either way you'll need a GM's assistance to get the bracers - whether you attempt to lie and say that you lost them or if you actually get a port (as you'll get stuck).
My steam account is Etyr for anyone interested in keeping in touch, checked in on bnet earlier tonight but I probably missed some people.
Edit:
My ban was entirely unrelated to this - I did attempt a similar strategy in order to summon myself though. If interested I would recommend checking with Xc if he still plays.
Heard from Fatbellyzz that more f2p are coming back, might have to check on this game again at some point next year.
