Hey guys! A little introduction of myself....My name is HB i mainly play in the 19 bracket on my mage Hunnybuns, more recently have moved into the 39 scene through cata/mop on my priest Hbizzle!
In the past few days i have decided that i will be making a 39 dueling show that is shown on a weekly basis (probably Sunday morning at this point) featuring 6 39 twinks dukeing it out in a 1v1 arena scenario. The duelists will fight it out in a best of 3 series. The first fight will always be Nagrand Arena, from there on the loser of each fight will get to choose the next map. The player who wins the best of the 3 fights (2-1, 3-0) will get to choose which fight they would like to be played on Smackdown. Regardless of a 2-0 start, all 3 fights will be played!
This sounds like my kind of thing! How do i get involved? Contact me through PM on Twinkinfo in this format... SIGN UP IN THIS FORMAT!!! Name of Character/Class/Realm/Race... You may only sign up on one character per signup/week.You do not have to submit what spec you will be playing before your matchup is posted, this decision can be made once you know who you are playing. Your opponent needs to be informed what spec you will be playing before the fight. Once your spec is chosen, you are not allowed to change specs during the duration of the fights. You ARE allowed to change your talents/glyphes through the matches. Keep in mind, play a spec that you can actually "beat" your foe as. (ex. holy paly vs holy paly duel would not be fun...) Leading on to the next question...
How are the dueling partners chosen? The first 6 people to sign up will be chosen at random to fight each other (those who did not make the first 6 slots will be first in line for the next episode). If you participated in the last episode, feel free to sign up again BUT priority will be given to people who did not participate the week before!Fighting Matchups will be posted every Sunday!
What if i am not on the same server as my opponent? Never fear, for wargames is here! As mentioned before, all the fights will be taken place in arenas. We can arrange cross server queues through real ID to insure the players can fight one another! ( this issue can be addressed after the matchups have been released)
When will the fights take place? If you know the person you are fighting personally, talk between the two of you to find what day/time works best for you guys, and have both players send me a PM on Twinkinfo and ill do the best of my ability to be there at that time! If you do not know the person, message me on TI what day/times work best for you, and i will line up the games accordingly. <Games Must be played before Saturday 1pm eastern of that week> The sooner the better ideally! I have to put the work in to make sure the episodes can come out on time!
How will Smackdown be filmed? Smackdown will be filmed from a third person point of view. While the two players are fighting, a third person will be filming the games to go on the show.
Where will i be able to watch Smackdown? Smackdown will be shown on Twinking.net on Sunday Mornings, I will update the thread when the first episode is going to be released!
Smackdown sounds like a great idea! How can i help out? I will need all the help i can get with Real ID queues and a few other things here and there, so please message me on Twinkinfo if you are interested in lending a hand in the production of the film!
