so yeh are 70 resto druids any good ? and any1 got a BiS resto druid i can check the gear on ?

In arena I've found resto druids to be useless unless themselves and their partners are stacking resil, due to the amount of burst in this game and their lack of instant heals after swiftmend is on cd.
 
Jiczx is close. Stack res and rearrange gems/enchant to try to get 4% spell hit and at least 60-70 spell pen. Don't worry about stacking high spell power, makes little difference to heals and unless you are playing 30 min+ arena games, mana should not be an issue (BG's or 2v2).



Stack res like a mother, PvE rogues can kill me through 816 res 15.8k>0 through Glyphed Barkskin if my trinket is on CD so yeah...



But with scrubs/not geared you can tank 3-4 dps at once.

oye, since I got my staff I lost 40 spell pen on the offhand. actually didn't notice, lol. how much is 4% spellhit btw, dunno if a gloveenchant with 20 hit and maybe a 20hit gem might fix it
 
I used to play a resto druid.

any class is amazing if played well, but it wasnt for me.

resto druids feel more like a bg healer rather than arena healer, due to the fact that all he has is to heal, he cant cc, silence, etc.

but you do have to be resilance stacked, and with all cds poped, itl be pretty hard to down a resto druid.
 
15% haste is bis, if you dont have it, go away.

my sig is bis.

there is no need in hit or spell pen anyway, you arent gonna dps, never.

get haste (2 more lifebloom ticks in the same amount of time) get resil, be happu.

bg healer? not arena?

druid cant cc right, druid can root time to time, druid can, sleep the shamans and other druids, bear stun, bear kick, druid can dispell prot gays and dont let em get AP enrage from the prot spec shit, he can break vanishes and dont let the rogue stealth, he dont even have to cast anything against against mages or under the rogue, he can never run oom, never, he can heal any damage taken, he cant die, he can ALWAYS escape.

Yeah...at 70 if a resto druid can get full hots on a target, that target isn't dying anytime soon.

i am talking about arena, and yes, not about 1700.

if a bg, i am talking about bgs with a good friends, not about the losers in the blues/greens.

if you dont know good druids, its not about there is no good druids. do you no?
 
Druids in arenas imo are amazing. I got to 2050 with a rogue partner *neither of us were BiS* and this was also when i didnt bear form mana burn.
