Does anyone have any information about these gloves? Do they have a global cooldown for the proc?

Are they more damage than bristlebark gloves? Any information would help. Deciding if I want to use these.
 
Red Whelp Gloves are more dmg output than 4/4 str/agi gloves, best you can get for dps.
No cooldown for the proc, just a flat rate per melee swing, so the faster your weapons are the better they get.

Weird test we did, but we found that the proc doesnt work the same as fiery weapon or shadowfang procs, so if it procs when you Sap or Gouge it WILL break those effects unfortunatley.

Red Whelp gloves is 20 damage per procc, so 2 procces for 40 damage, 3.75% fire resistance = (40x0.9625)/60 = 0.641
And that is with only 2 proccs whereas if the text is correct
You get 22 hits out of Shadowfang per minute
and if you'd use Assasin's Blad
You'd get 32 hits out of that
so 54 hits / 20 = 2.7 Procc = 54 damage rather than 40
Agi also does some Crit tho which should be taken into account
so 4 agi = 0.53% crit, over a DPS of 50 that's 0.27 extra DPS so
0.9 DPS
Altho 50 DPS might be a bit high when talking white stats
so lets say 0.24*0.75 = 0.18
makes 0.82 DPS total for Bristlebarks
(54x0.9625)/60 = 0.87 DPS for Red Whelp Gloves
That is, if the 5% is flat
