Raidbots for lvl 11 fury warrior

Sorry, i got distracted with PoE2 coming out yesterday. I am going to edit post #2 with what i worked on today and a contest of sorts to see who can become #1.
Ghank, they are really close with strength being worth twice what haste is. 3 str is 3x1.2=3.6 and 2 str/2 haste is 2x1.2 +2x0.6=3.6, but these weights aren't set in stone anytime you change one thing they change. This is why at high level stat weights are not a thing anymore and the only answer is to sim possible upgrades. I am surprised the move to more strength didn't net more dps because it is looking a bit stronger. I have done some more tweaking so if you would, run a sim again after i get post #2 updated
I hit the dummies so it's not perfect dps numbers. But I think more WW can yield more dps especially if it's a big group to smack. Lifesteal is like 70-80% of WW damage and I don't think STR helps that proc, but haste done do er good.

I swapped out some of my enchants and gear pieces to go more Versatility heavy and got a way higher result than I expected. I both simmed it and tested it on the Boralus dummies for 5 minutes for the same result. Raidbots Sim Patchwerk 4 Bosses

Alright, hold on with your respec. A couple things here, i know Kaxle said to put your verse in the overrides but that is incorrect for what we are doing. The overrides are only there to approximate the contribution of lifestealing(lifestealing itself is not implemented in simcraft) so i am pretty much faking it. The .18 there is only good at 4 targets it falls apart at any other target count. Kastafall, by editing that you added a lot of fake lifestealing, in your sim LS is 51.4% of your damage and ww is 44.5%, from your screenshot the damage from LS is 47.3% and ww is 48.0%. So going back to 0.18 makes the ratio correct again.
For now i am going to stick with .18 value at 4 targets because for everyone i have seen so far that keeps the damage ratio correct. So changing that brings your first sim to 581 and the second to 578. Still enough to put your first sim in at #1
There is still the thing that both you and letsgoblast have shared screenshots of 640 which i will note besides your sim results but i can't explain it or believe its real. I don't know if you picked up a buff you didn't notice or if those target dummies are janky.
Also i have to ask, the Mark of the Claw neck enchant and the +4 strength gems are what's putting you ahead, how do you get those?

Aah, I see now. Im going to be honest, I was a little bit confused with what you and Kaxle were going back and forth with. I thought I had gotten it down at least, but I see I must have been a bit mistaken haha. As for the enchant and gems though, they are just the usual ones. The "Mark of the Claw" enchant is on the auction house for 199 gold (as of writing), and the gems I have are standard +3 strength gems.

However, as for whether or not you believe it, I made a video so that you could watch it. I also made sure to stick on each of the abilities on screen for a couple of seconds near the end so that you can read them. I do see what you mean about the sim being disproportionately in favor of Lifestealing with the way that I had it. I hope this is able to help in any way.

Also, apologies about my odd looking weak-aura setup. Its a dumbed down verison of what I have for my main character.

Yep sorry, was tired in the middle of the night when i asked that, i knew the tooltips are pulled from wowhead and show +4 str. I had someone say they saw +4 in the game and i thought, HERE IT IS!. i know better and same on the neck enchant i saw something new adding damage not remembering that most of us are using a different version that gets handled differently.
Nowak, thanks for the video. That is some crazy damage your doing. I don't see anything to explain how you are getting that high damage from a sim point of view. As far as simming goes the damage is a little low compared to in game but i can live with a little, This is a LOT. Also, just talking sims, its impossible to get that much higher with the current known gear as the stat weights are all close together so that it doesn't make a huge difference as long as you have the most overall stats(which we do). Just to make sure, that was without any potions/ flasks etc. because none of the stuff is in the sims. Also, any idea what spiked you so high at the start? Could just be high rolling and doesn't matter because you clearly even out at 650ish.
I still do wonder if something is up with those target dummies in boralus, you and Letsgo have shown 640 there and have had none from zandalar yet( i do see some stuff flying around from other targets there but doesn't seem to do anything)but the sample size is very very low. Also the builds you two have shown that on are completely dissimilar so theer is no ahah moment. In addition, boats has tested all kinds of combos there and not seen that kind of damage so i am lost.
So as far as simming goes, it must not be working correctly enough at our level which leads me to not chasing this anymore. It looks like we are still stuck with in game testing being our only way of evaluating gear. I am going to leave up the "contest" and just add a second column of results for the 4 target in game results.
Seclusioned, i will get speedys results up shortly

I'm kind of the same way where 20 seconds in my DPS is way higher than where it finishes. I just assume its RNG with early crits and trink procs going off.
I was in a group with Nowak last night and he did like a 2 minute pull on the Boralus dummies and was still 700+ after 2 minutes, but after the 1st like 30 seconds he was near 800.

I havent seen the dummies in Zandalar but I will say the Boralus ones are literally right on top of each other so its impossible for a whirlwind or lifesteal to miss.

As for overall #s and why people are pulling what they are pulling I'm leaning more towards 15% haste and then crit and verse being priorities.
I know the sims dont show it but I cant argue with Nowaks results.

Also @Zly thanks for taking the time to do this stuff, its pretty cool.

Ya I lowered my STR a little and added some VERs and my dps went up 5%ish. It does seem to help a lot, going to add some more right now. The trinket with a VERS proc is pretty helpful.

Thanks for the info. The ones in Zandalar are tightly packed also. My problem is i have the sim pretty much matching up with in game and just don't understand how suddenly it jumps so high for some setups in game. All i can conclude is that it's some unknown bug(one of many) on blizzards end. I am surprised that you haven't stumbled on this with all your testing.

I do agree that 15% haste does appear to be the sweet spot and even the sim supports that. But the sim isn't suddenly exploding there. Looking at their gear i don't see any similarities that we could point to and say that weapon or trinket is broken it just seems to be 15% haste

Sorry - i raid on sunday evenings, and then went to bed not long after i posted in the other thread. I didnt think to test in Zuldazar since boats used the dummies in Boralus which I decided to also use. Im glad youve gotten a 630 dummy test on a 15% haste build. I guess the sims are just not lining up for some reason?

I think as youve said its just 15% haste diff. Boats and toofasts' setups were 20% and 24% haste builds, whereas nowak and I were at 15%. I dont think it matters so much what our gear is or if its similar, its the 15% haste breakpoint for 1.3s gcd, then maximising raw damage rather than overinvesting in haste

But i guess from a min maxing perspective, we now would want to figure out what the optimal way to hit 15% with as much crit/vers would be. Id also be interested in testing high crit vs high vers vs balance, but from the very small experimenting i did, crit came out on top over high vers and over a balance. Also strength, I can see that Nowak has a few 2/2 str haste gems, and drops to 120 str whereas im at 134, I wonder if id gain dps similarly by dropping some haste items for gems and maybe swapping a weapon or two.

On my current build i went all in on strength after getting haste to 15% in hopes that it would hit really hard. Currently at 146 str. I would say its smoother than Nowaks in that my damage is far less spiky, i only hit like 680 or something early. So far Nowak is defiantly the king, his damage can spike so high. I also still want to test more with crit/verse values

the damage spike on pull can be absurd and im not really sure why? i guess its both trinket procs but still seems a lot - i always seem to kick off at like 700-800 then it sticks around 670ish similar to where Nowaks is before dropping to 640 and stays there. Ill have to record a test sometime, it looks very similar to Nowaks video, though.

I wonder if this is just sort of where the dps caps out around,

I believe mine is less spiky because strength is just flat damage. I think Nowaks high crit is what's making it spike so high at the start because he only has one trinket with a proc. I'm going to try a build with higher crit than my current if this stupid event at bashirs landing ever decides to start

I pushed up to 30 crit on a build, but it wound up in the 630~ range when it averaged out, I think toofast is going to do lots of testing tomorrow, too
