By posting on the forums you agree to these terms, to fully abide by the Code of Conduct and to keep yourself appraised of any changes to the Twink Info Code of Conduct in the future. If you violate the Code of Conduct, we reserve the right to terminate all accounts belonging to you without prior notice. We prefer to advise users of inappropriate behaviour, however, repeated violations of our Code of Conduct will result in an immediate ban. Our failure to enforce policy, for whatever reason, shall not be construed as a waiver of our right to do so at any time.
This Code of Conduct is intended to be extensive, but not exhaustive. If you cannot find clear information on the site's policies you should use common sense and if in doubt you should contact a member of staff. We reserve the right to handle any situation as we see fit regardless of any stipulations in the Code of Conduct. Twink Info reserves the right to undertake any action without notice for any reason.
This Code of Conduct extends to every part of the site, it's blog and its supported Ventrillo server. Blog entries and public groups will be dealt with in the same manner as the forums.
The official language of Twink Info is English. Threads and posts in the public forum, blog and non private communications should be written in English. Any posts or threads not posted in English will be treated as though they are publically displayed private messages.
Actions performed outside of the site will not earn formal reprimands on the site, however they may reduce the potential for certain privileges to be extended or allowed to you. Members acting as an unofficial spokesman for the site or impersonating a representative of the site will have appropriate actions taken against them on the site.

General Guidelines
• Use the search function, there may already be a post, thread or guide with information you need
• Don't “back seat" moderate. If you feel a violation has been made of the Code of Conduct you should report it using the report feature at the bottom left of every post. Trying to enforce the Code of Conduct without the moderator badge can end up messy
• Choose your thread title carefully. It should accurately represent the content of the post in a concise manner. It should not be written in all caps either. A staff member may rename a thread without warning if it is deemed unreasonable
• Post in the correct forum. The forums are ordered for a reason. Threads in the wrong section will be moved without warning. The staff member may then choose to include a redirect to the thread from the original forum
• Quote selectively. Do not quote an entire post, especially the opening post of a thread and then reply to it generally. Only quote those parts that are relevant to your response
• Use common sense. Don't post something which could be interpreted incorrectly or may be deemed inappropriate. This Code of Conduct is intended to be extensive, but not exhaustive. If you cannot find clear information on the site's policies you should use common sense and if in doubt you should contact a member of staff
• Multiple violations of the Code of Conduct can result in greater penalties per incursion than single violations

• Deserves a warning rather than a punishment

• Is excessively large
• Has been asked to be removed or replaced by a member of staff

This category includes both clear and masked language attempts to:
• Rent any account. This is due to high scam rates

Prohibited Material
This category includes both clear and masked language, images and/or links to websites containing such material which:
• Promote cheating or hacking ingame
• Promote abuse of ingame mechanics to allow a player to play in unlocked experience battlegrounds with the intent of not gaining experience. This includes holding a WSG flag in an unlocked experience battleground with no intention of capping and then leaving before the time limit
• We do not allow buying, trading, or selling of any Windows licenses
• Personal information such as a full name, phone number, address, etc. must be removed
• Credit card services are not allowed here. (Providing account transfers, customizations, etc... via credit card)
• Digital game-time codes purchased with a credit card are not allowed to be sold on these forums
• Any content a staff member expressly forbids
• Lockerz accounts, or related material is not allowed here

• Names and shames another player, regardless of Twink Info membership
• Impersonates another member of the site or well known figure
If a member is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
• Be given an appropriate number of infraction points or a temporary/extended ban from the forums, depending upon severity
Harassment takes many forms, and is not necessarily limited to the type of language used, but the intent. Repeatedly targeting a specific member with harassment can lead to more severe action. The idea behind this is to prevent any one member from consistently being uncomfortable on the site.

Spamming or Trolling

• Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
• Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums
• Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
• Making non-constructive posts
• Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
• Numbering a thread, IBTL, TLDR, or any other fad statements
• Commenting on an irrelevant part of a post, such as the key bindings of a player in a screenshot intended to show something else
• Any discussion between a small group of members that could be handled with a private group or private message. This includes "@player" messages.
• Are not immediately obvious to all, involved or not, that it is “banter”
• Post in dead threads that no longer hold relevance and have no been posted in for a substantial period of time (i.e. thread "necroing")

This category includes:
• Linking to threads from other forums without relevance to the thread at hand
• Creating threads or posts with the sole purpose of linking another post without relevance to the thread at hand
• Creating a separate thread about an existing topic for further discussion in more than one forum

• Be given an appropriate number of infraction points or a temporary/extended ban from the forums, depending upon severity

This category includes advertisement of:
• Any non-beneficial, Twink Info related businesses, organizations, or websites

Discussing Disciplinary Actions
This category includes:
• Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against any account, thread or other parts of the forum

If you wish to dispute disciplinary action taken against you you should directly contact any staff member through the Private Message system on the account in question.

Circumventing a Suspension / Ban
This category includes:
• Posting on another account during the ban period of another account thought to belong to you
• Having someone post on your behalf

IMPORTANT
Repeatedly violating any area of the Twink Info Forum Code of Conduct, including the areas detailed above, can result in permanent banishment from the forums.
This policy is not language-restrictive. Language that falls under this policy will always be subject to the repercussions listed, whether it is inappropriate in English or any other language.
The bottom line is that we want Twink Info to be a fun and safe environment for all members. While posting on Twink Info and its forums, you will encounter other members who share different experiences and come from vastly different backgrounds. While certain language and images may not be offensive to you, consider the fact that that same language and images may have a completely different effect on someone else. We’ve done everything we can to make this a great environment– now it’s up to you. We expect you to come with a fair amount of common sense!
