Question about setting up a lvl 10 vet on my wow2 linked account

Hey!
I'd like to create a twink on a linked account to boost my alts to lvl 60. I've created a linked WoW2 account (thus I have Chromie time and allied races available), but before purchasing a game time I'd like to be sure that I fully understand what exactly do I have to do to set up a lvl 10 or 11 vet. I have couple questions:

-Do I have to turn my xp off before the game time runs out? Is it possible to turn it off after it runs out?
-Will I be able to que random dungeons and get in group with my main account alts if my twinks XP is turned off and no game time left?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe as soon as a Trial account enters an instance with locked exp before level 20, it's exp is enabled automatically.

This is why lower f2p twinks don't exist.

if this is true its new as of DF. I've got several tens on my f2p account and never encountered this in SL

No it wouldn't have been new of DF. Wasn't it true though for BGs? Like you couldn't make a lvl 19 f2p twink to bg.

The factor there is that you cant que BGs at all without gametime and xp turned off.

Actually I'm completely wrong. I'm thinking of the time before Veteran status where you were only subbed or Trial.
