Yes. Wowhead will list the common world drop relics. While it lists them as being zone specific, it seems each zone drops a few other kinds too. So if you are looking for a specific kind, you do want to farm that zone, it drops more often.
The problem is going to be Fire and Arcane relics, supposedly you can get them from Legion Invasions, they are suppose to drop all types, but the drop rate seems low. I have seen others drop, but not Fire and Arcane yet. You can also get all types from Lockboxes, as long as you open them on a level 24.
