Question about 59 Community

Hey guys

I've heard that 59s are active, and while I think that is awesome, I wonder - will it exist after Classic comes out?

Truth is I quit BFA prior to the bracket (re)segregation due to 69s ruining bgs completely. I both blame them and blizzard but moreso blizzard for this, since blizz should have never made 69 the top level of any bracket (pretty sure same thing happened to those poor 70s getting owned by 79s).

So, since gear works and I like level 60, yet we get no games since our community is too small, 59 is pretty damn close. If they get pops I was thinking of making one, but, once Classic comes out - will the 59 community completely vanish?

Also - is the community slowly declining anyway or is it gaining or at least maintaining its size?

59 does not do regular BG queues. We have nightly wargames (every single night since the patch) consisting of 20-30 players. That said, I still recommend you give this bracket a try. Our community seems to be steadily growing - lots of new faces popping up recently. See Jabz' post here for community links.

I don't know how anyone could possibly foresee what happens to any twink community once classic comes out. It's likely that some people will drop retail altogether for classic, but there's really no way to predetermine what retail communities will look like once that happens.

Other than the two things you mentioned, yeah, pretty similar I think. I see you play a ret at 60 - still a very nasty spec at 59.

I would highly recommend just making a 59 even with the possibility of the bracket dying when classic releases. The wargames occur every night and the community is really enjoyable. We have discord for both sides so the games are much more competitive as well. Look forward to seeing you in the games!

Even though I let my sub run out, I was highly impressed by the 59 community during the night I wargamed with them. They deserve every bit of success they earned.
