Premades were the problem, not the 20s.

all they had to do was disable unsub account from joining groups outside of instanced content.

now they’re gonna have the same problems for levelers. Except now they will be queuing into lv 29 premades instead of 20s, and with worse que times.

Everyone lost here, unless you had some old 70s on the shelf.

That's because 99% of current 29's aren't actually bis for the current iteration of wow. In fact most don't even know what bis is. 20's have years of data and theory crafting to go off. 29's isn't a thing...until now.

If history is any guide, xpoff 20-29s will pop with reasonable queue times. Queue times back then were around 5 to 30 or more minutes (and varied by time of day)

yea, noones hanging around for 30 minute ques that only pop 6 hours a day. Except, of course, the type of brain void that plays 29s.

Seems to be intentional game design to address playing with xp on/off. Dragonflight could see a complete merger of all brackets, and I have a feeling blizzard can see the number of players leaving vs the number of players playing twinks on vet accounts, decided it is probably better when we were paying them to Twink.

Now we are faced with a new kind of disparity and have to make a choice to stay level 20 and 'play free' or level to 29 to compete with the group of players who will find 29s to be tasty and also superior. Level 25 is where a lot of dungeon content unlocks, and having a couple more abilities is kinda huge. Dragonflight is gonna set the stage for 29 twinking...

The only glimmer of hope I see, blizzard finally acknowledging internally what twinking is and deciding players will always do it. Might as well get that money and provide a solid place to do it.

Only real question: how to prep for next expax and 29 if one were really interested. Chrome time will add slands content. How much will be available to us?
