Que up specific wsg 2/15/15

As the title states, everyone please que up tonight, 2/15/15, in SPECIFIC WSG. While blizzard is working on the que bug, let's try and increase activity and fight the bug, as we really don't know how long they will take. Even if you are busy, just log on and stay in que, with patience and persistence we can make this work.

Kig

P.S.: Do not que for arenas and do not que as a group.

35+ people in que and only 2 pops within a 1-2 hour period. Wait for bug to be fixed for pugs.

I'd rather get 2 pops in 1-2 hours then none at the expense of wargames. I say that only because I am looking at the better of the community; the more pugs we can get going prior to the fix, the better.

I've played on both sides of the isles guys, trust me - logically speaking more games will happen if we War game until the bug is fixed, it is easy to get involved in war games there's no excuse for 40 people waiting 45 minutes to get one 10v10 pop.

I think people are getting their hopes up for a fix when it's far from guaranteed it will happen. The queue system crosses all brackets including end game. We 're far more likely to get a "working as intended" response than a change based on my experience (or they say that and never even respond).

Fact is we had pug pops before ppl started war gaming at same time, and the reason they don't work now is because every single time there's a "queue at this date/time" post people purposely wargames that night instead of queuing pugs. We've had pugs pop while wargames going on (horde side ones anyways), but at one hour between pops it isn't sustainable.

Wargames are great - as I've said all along it doesn't need to be a choice between wargames and pugs. Could designate certain nights pug nights. If we all queue and don't do wargames until much later that night we will get pug pops.

To play games there are two options

1) You get 35-40 people to log on in order to queue pugs. There will only be one game going on and which means 20ish other people will be waiting for the game to end. When it does end theres a good chance the next game wont pop right away. When the game does finally pop some of those players who had been waiting for 45+ minutes will miss the pop due to the bug. Some will log off, some will give it another go. This continues to happen until enough people log off that the pop stops.

-This is based on experience. You may say "but if there's 20 others waiting, there will be 2 games going" - Wrong, there's a bug. You may also ask "people should just stay on and keep queueing" - Again, wrong. Some people actually have lives outside of WoW.

2) You can get those 35-40 people to organize 3-4 balanced teams that can play each other. People get to play more games and they are competitive.

- To the people who complain about being left out of wargames - speak up so you can join in, create your own team or be more social so you can join the "cliques".

Also, you're right there doesn't need to be a choice between pugs and wargames. There is only one logical answer at this time: Wargame.

Saying wargames is only option means you made it a choice.

You have your reasons and stated them. I would say that's fine but the problem is the wargames happening when we're trying to pug are killing the pugs. And those of us actually experienced in the bracket realize how critical pugs to the survival/life/growth of the bracket.

We understand how crucial pugs are to the community. We all understand that. Let me say that again. We all understand how important pugs are to the community. I'm glad you're experienced in the bracket just like the majority of users on TI are.

We tried pugs and it was a failure. 2 pops in a 2 hour span when you know at least 35-40 people are on is failure. This bug hasn't been here forever, it's fairly new. Either people can queue bugged pugs or they can que a healthy wg.

People tried pugs and after only 2 games and 2 hours of waiting they went to wargames. It's simple.

It would be simple if they did wargames after 2 hours of bad/no pops. But that isn't reality. Instead they don't even try to pug, they just ask everyone of their faction to wargame at 8-9pm right off the bat.

The queue may be relatively new but it's a fact it was around when we had pops for 6-7 weeks straight every night late last year. Yet we still had pops. Not a coincidence they stopped as soon as alliance started alliance wargames at same time for several straight nights.
