Problem with boost runs for Gloves of the Fang

I'm a lvl 19 druid running wailing caverns being boosted by a lvl 90 druid.
All the drops from bosses seem to be stuff I can't use (mail, bows etc.)
The drops from Druid's of the Fang always seem to be Slither-Scale Gauntlets (mail) never Gloves of the Fang.
So my quesiton is, am I being unlucky and this is normal RNG, or is it not possible to be boosted and get usable leather gear?
(I would have assumed it's just bad RNG if it wasn't for the bosses always droppiung unusable items as well)

you can do this, you're just getting unlucky

to clarify - you do need to actually loot the corpses yourself also

Very easy to solo as a Druid! Got mine after 2-3 solo runs

I wonder if it's just less likely to drop if there's a high level in the group. Maybe there's many more items in the loot table for Druid's of the Fang at higher levels, making percentage chance of the gloves dropping that much lower?
(don't really want to solo it as it is so much slower)

RNG is RNG my friend.
The percentage chance of you getting a particular drop is always the same time the first time you kill a boss as the same time you kill it the last time.

Get a bunch of stealthed 19 leather users. That way it just has to drop for 1 of you and that person can just trade it over to whoever needs it.
