Welp that sucks. That is really disappointing that our prestigious rep tabards will just become a faceroll grind for noobs to get.
Let us remember those who completed the legendary Ethereum Prison Key farm with great honour and reverence.
On another note.... any news about a Shattered Sun Offensive rep token?

It's 84 or less Badges (based on increased Reputation gains via various sources) per Faction from 0/Neutral to 1/999 Exalted. You get (10-11) PER Character for your first Timewalking run of the weekend based on the 500 Badges the once weekly quest gives you and the 40-50 per Dungeon. For those tied to P2P Accounts that's as little as (1) Dungeon for 8 or so Characters Level 71/81+ each Timewalking Weekend. With each Dungeon taking as little as 6-9 minutes and generally no longer than 30 or so minutes that's a substantial drop in farming time. Granted there are folks with only a single higher level toon and then it'd take basically as long. The key is in the bonus 500 Badges from the weekly quest. I agree though that's it's still a grind, just like everything in WoW.People like to demonize the Outland rep grind. Sure it is a grind but you can share the farming process with up to 4-5 other people and they all get the reps with the same keys.
To max out ONE rep with the tokens you need 4000ish timewarped badges which is almost as much as a mount costs. It doesn't seem like a much faster way at all (unless they buff the drops or something). And it's only for one character, not a group. What it might make easier is the final phase of the grind where you keep getting useless rep NPCs that you're already exalted with while hunting for those few lagging behind.

Absolutely and don't misunderstand I wasn't belittling your comment just putting it into context for those who are unaware that multiple high level Characters can each get the 500 Badges once per weekend event, speeding the process up decently.Good point about the sub 100 characters. I forgot that 71+/81+ toons can start the bonus quest too. Either way it's still a significant currency investment that takes months to complete unless you cheese it by running the dungeons on a ridiculous number of alts.
Just a quick update with this, as I've done a few of the dungeons.
you get about 35/40 points per instance (5 per boss, 10 for last and 10 for completing. The final boss of the first dungeon gives you a turn in for 500 points (once per timewalking weekend) and can be done once per character, meaning that with a lot of higher lvls you can get these done fast.
without rep bonuses, you need 84 marks, for 50 ea or 4200 points total, and with the DMF buff that drops to 77, or 3850 total points. You CAN grind this out in a single weekend with a lot of alts, or a lot of free time, but for everyone's sanity I don't recommend this.
I was not able to find the vendor in shatt, so I suppose it is not in the game currently (will be next timewalking weekend)
happy instancing!
