Official Epic Upgrade Bragging Thread (Warning: Jealousy/Salt)

making a new character entirely or race changing? b/c like every time I've seen someone on a rerolled toon just to obtain an epic quality item they have a shit ton of gear which most likely means they race changed. Right?

Allied races start at level 20 with ilvl 25 "green" gear that is on par with dungeon loot.

Create toon>do quest>fail>delete>create toon>do quest>fail>delete>create toon>etc... After you finally get an epic reward on that single quest turn-in you carry on like any normal toon just taking your chances and living with the outcome.

You bypass RNG to get an epic from a single quest with an over-tuned reward. (or maybe 2 if you're crazy)

My mage got the foam staff in like 30mins....my monk has been going at it for over 10 hours, that's with 3-4 20s in a group looting it X.x, all greens and blues so far rip. I burnt all my luck on the first one..

10hours with 3 20s for the chance at loot ugh. kill me.


Edit: Took another 4 hours but i got it finally. I'm sure thousands of murlocs died at my hands...

Rerolling the character completely. Then once they get the one item they care about, they do the rest of the quest for whatever else they can get, and maybe faction change to do the opposite faction quests too.

Could replace cloak and 2nd trinket to something better aswell

Why would I want crit on a resto druid? Esp when I have both wolf bracers and perf rolled aurora bracers?

Have we confirmed that gloves can be epic? (please dont quote the fake screenshot)

Druids cant use wands and the epic staff is still BiS

I have an epic cloak, prefer the cape of the brotherhood but could you be more specific on "something better"? And What second trinket? I like my vers one, though I do have the entire brewfest collection and (f2p available) heirlooms in my bag. So... whats "something better"?

With the BiS versa mace and BiS versa off hand. It's 5 intellect vs 7 versa, 7 versa does not weight up to 5 intellect.

As 2nd trinket the heirloom stam/vers one would be BiS

I agree the bracers would be an upgrade but I doubt they are on the table so drop it. Please link epic fang gloves.

No, even if the mace and off hand both procced epic it would still be worse than the staff, he'd lose too much int not using the staff. Trinket you have a point.

Because I have bracers with 6 int if I want higher int. And crit... on a resto druid? Over haste and vers? lol

I need you to prove those gloves drop (again, NOT the fake screenshot) because that would be pretty huge information

That vers mace is horde only (discontinuers hammer) but even if i could get it, it would add up to 38 int, 12 stam, 8 vers. the epic staff has 37 int, 13 stam and 16 vers. Ill absolutely trade 1 int (on a mace I cant get) for 8 vers. lol.

and Im f2p. that trinket is unavailable to me.

Pretty sure wowhead is off and the mace is actually 24 int not 25. Also you would lose 2 int from not using staff enchant, this guy is just so stupid.
