New lorewalking quest on 17july, Anyone checked?

Did someone already check this feature, is it on ptr? Did IT bring new items as a rewards? Scaled to 20 or something, NVM. Just found

Lorewalker's Crate of Memorobilia
Completing certain Lorewalking quests or repeating a campaign will earn you Lorewalker's Crate of Memorabilia Lorewalker's Crate of Memorabilia. This chest contains gear from past expansions that will scale to your level. At max level this gear will be Explorer 1/8. While not the best way of gearing a character, these crates are a fun way to collect old transmog.


But some RAID gear may be incudled ?

I checked out the feature on PTR, the stories take like an hour each to do, it's a few quests through different zones, nothing special.
The only cool thing about it is that a lot of zones scale down, which gives F2Ps more content to do.

Nzoth zones u mean Uldum / Vale?
Uldum is kinda bugged, if you enter Uldum you get to a loading screen loop, and Vale is phased.

Some other notable zones that scales down are: Argus, Isle of Giant, Isle of Thunder, The Maw, Korthia.

You can kill rares for mounts, pets, and toys, but gear won't scale down even if the rares do.

maw covenant assaults, are those up? i need three mounts from war chests, they affect fallen charger spawn points

i'm missing the fallen charger (due to bad luck), i have all the other korthia, maw, beast warren hunt, satchel reward, tormentors of torgast, and secret shadehound mount. i look forward to putting a fleet of 20s into the maw, not complete the quest line to hopefully stay scaled even when the event is over

somethings to check for those who have never done the zone, possibly a huge chance to obtain alot of mounts

rep gains in maw, korthia, etc?

the maw ve'nari quest guy, are you able to see any of the quests while scaled to set up for the beast warrens hunt mount and the secret shadehound mount?

have you tested the covenant mount chance summons in korthia, and the ability to collect razorwing egg or tasty mushroom? for the cov mounts. i used switching alot of players covs, i was able to get 4 mounts in about 6 days, (necro mount comes from a egg with a hatch time)

tormentors of torgast, do you see this event when in lorewalking, chance at one of the skeleton hand mounts. btw, this event is broken in retail (in June will be 1 year), no progress bar and no bosses spawn. if the event is up on the lorewalking and the bosses do not spawn, those who want a chance at that mount need to start doing fresh bug reports. also boss kills are needed for part of the meta achieve breaking the chains

Didnt see those last time I was in Maw, but I never played SL endgame so idk where they are or how to access them.

Fallen Charger is up, killed him 3 times total, still no mount drop

Which rep is this Venari? We can already get that in live.

We can't do any quests while in Lorewalking, everything is locked.
The Shadehound mount is obtainable.

Havnt tested, dont have covenant.

It was up on map, went there and killed some mobs related to it but nothing happened.

covenant assaults are in the maw, will show on map like other things, probably a no go for low levels for this lorewalking event

my account is VET unsubbed, for my alts level 60+
- i do all the skips in oribos, pick a cov, able to go to zeren mortis main base and not having to do that intro
- i do the report to cov intro quest to the point of setting up conduit forge.
- then get a quest to return to oribos and turn in
- bolivar fordragon is tricky. you turn in a quest or talk to him, but do not take his quest, unselect him, talk again, take red text skip unlocks korthia
will be curious if unlock system will affect my 20s to see and do the covenant assaults, those mounts are insane low drop from the chest at the end.

https://www.wowhead.com/npc=162804/venari the maw version of him gives quests and a vendor. we can't access live at low level, he was in the game along with maw being a daily quest zone 6 Dec 2020 after SL actual launch 23 Nov 2020, Korthia was added Jun 2021, the maw gad alot of blizzard clownshow gating along with being very unfriendly unless you were certain classes/spec/cov, i had to drop players, convert DK and druid to tank. DH, ret and fury was good. i did free month SL i bought with tokens, and used one token for time. i did not return until near the end with flying unlock. maw gating dropped, zeren mortis was endgame some players already had flying i could never make it to any rare on time. so i did maw, korthia, and LFR until my one token time ran out

tormentors of torgast event is broken on live, you get 3 major elite packs that show as yellow dots on mini map when near, the fill-up event progress bar is missing. bosses are supposed to spawn after the elites are killed along with progress, that is broken and nothing happens. appears from what you say it's still broken on PTR also
