EU+US New Legion Items and potential Re obtainable Items

I got bored so decided to look through the legion wowhead database (subject to change as its only Alpha)

Came across a few interesting things such as the old Blackfathom deeps quest now requiring lvl 18 and the items not saying This item's source is no longer available/removed.

There are alot of item changes like leather-mail and mail-plate but I thought these where the most interesting ones as they could potentially become GFED.

I actually have both on my 19 hunter collected on the alpha. I got gloves and legs of the fang drop on my hunter and i got slither scale belt drop too.

Maby something worth mentioning, all leather quest rewards you will do with for example a hunter will automaticly give a mail version of the reward but at the moment you do a quest, like you wanted hovel digger bands for lets say druid, you wont get to chose that reward because it is cloth.

About the blindwatchers girdle, I'll check this out by running SFK's today.

I would love them to add a feuture into the game where you can select the old or new version of zones or dungeon just like switching between raid difficulties,

They are not going the be GF'd. They will drop both. These are just new in game cause of the fact some classes learned mail in a later stage and in Legion from level 1 so this is an addeptation.

Hell yea, you TP to TBC, like you pay 10 euros for it or smth you know blizzard makes a thing from it. You're there for 10 days let's say and you go back to Legion after, but it kinda removes value from twinks tho.

They both drop, slither scale gloves and gloves of the fang will drop as world drop like just gloves of the fang does now in WC. The mail (slither scale) drops from the bosses were simply added to the loot table and they have both (of the fang or slither scale) a chance to drop from instance bosses.

How this will affect the 4 Defias set, I can't tell. I've had only defias gloves drop but that is it. It would be strange if they do not reintroduce full defias set if these will also have a mail version drop. But then again, the leather version is not complete as a drop now too.

Wasn't able to get Odo the Blindwatcher spawned to see if the girdle drops before the servers went down for a new build just now. Will try again, might has something to do with me 1 shotting the Baron.

Since there seems to be some misinformation here Hunters/Shamans can wear Mail at level 1, Warriors/Paladins can wear plate at level 1.

Therefore all (or almost all) pre-40 mail will now be plate, all pre-40 leather will most likely be seeing mail counterparts (these are the items you are seeing above). These wont replace the leather versions just in addition to. The only things that may be getting grandfathered from what I've seen is that quests may now pick the reward for you so if you want (for example) a cloth item as a mail user get it now.

Seeing as how it stands now item level is the only thing that matters in pvp (GFd inferno robe twinks rejoice) twinks will see a major change in their gear. Of course world pvp their current gear will still be relevant.

Instanced pvp is not working yet on the leveling realms and the pvp realm which has it activated is only accesable with a premade 110 character.

I do not know if this changed yet but at the start of the opening of pvp I played alot and the s1 trinket that procs intel still added spellpower in bg and we were not even testing pvp with the templates that they wanted to install to the game. I am not certain how this works now, something to look at when the servers are back up I suppose.

Legion still needs so much testing on all levels but what I said came from a blue telling how instanced pvp would work with this ilvl enhancing. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/19994381

It does say CURRENTLY. It can all still change. Its hard to put a finger on anything, but just in case, people SHOULD be grabbing the highest ilvl gear possible.

Ahh thats a shame, thank you for doing that many runs haha would of been cool to have it back in the game

Edit: Could you also test if the old bfd quests are back again as the quest now sais it requires level 18, thank you

Are there any items that won't contribute to the item level? Like whites, for example?
