Hey im trying to farm 99s Boe's for my Mage.
I was farming Imps now for 4 hours with 3 character (all 99s) + 2 random guys and only got a bunch of green items, ~4x 75 AP and 1 Plate Chest BoE (useless). They did nerfed the droprate? or are there any new good spots?

4 hours and you got only 4 AP items... That can't be right. If that's true then you must have just had some terrible luck. Bad luck with the BoEs too but certainly possible. Keep farming and your luck will turn around sooner or later.

I know last time I farmed Gear for my 99 lock , I got a lot of AP (only 1 char) but this time with 3 characters i got nearly nothing it was really frustrating after this farm session...

Finally got a BoE -not from farming, random drop while doing an invasion point for the AP ... shame it's not for my Class .......

Six Feather Fan - would consider swapping it for Strength trinket or a BoE Plate helm or what have you?

Just FYI, six feather fan is BiS for any DPS spec. The proc is absurdly powerful and more than makes up for the fact that agility is not your primary stat. And in iPvP the item level is all that matters.

Interesting - I've put it on the AH for silly money, if it sells all well and good it not I'll use it.

Get a group of 110s and tell them there is a chance for 101 twink boes to drop. Which is true. Make sure you have all monks in your group go brew for statue

Are there areas where there are more dense mobs? I’m new to legion in general so I’m still learning the zones. But even if they’re stronger than imps, I’m fine with that. On my prot warrior, I’d much prefer to grab like 10-15 mobs at a time, but imps stay spread out and die in about 2 or 3 gcds so it’s tough to gather them all up for one loot.

Rdruid and boomy are the best for imps. 1 moonfire kills them so it's just tab dot. Find a druid buddy

The problem isn’t killing them, the problem is it’s horribly slow and boring to to kill a few, loot a few, kill a few, loot a few, etc. It may be the best option, but I’m going to look around for an area of densely packed mobs I can round up easily. Perhaps murlocs will serve this purpose.

It's extremely fast with a druid. You can't keep up with them respawning

That you can’t keep up with the respawn rate isn’t a good argument for how fast it is. In fact quite the opposite.

At any rate, I’ve found other melee mob areas where I can kill many at a time much faster and loot a bunch at once much better than the imps. Different folks for different strokes.
