My Soundcloud debut...

So some of you may or may not know that I love music. The "music lover" badge was the first one I got (idk what happened to it, but idgaf either lol) I've posted everything from the Bad Brains, Circle Jerks, Subhumans to Death Metal/Black Metal to Black Thought from The Roots. Some of you might remember me rapping over a beat that a user by the name of Apnea posted in a thread waaaayyyy back. I've since removed the video because I wanted to use some of those lines on songs and I thought it might be kinda whack to use them if they were already in a freestyle. Anyways, I've finally decided to start sharing my instrumentals and I'll be posting some lyricism as well. I know there's quite a few here that love music as much as or more so than me, so I figured I might as well make a thread here to let people know. And, I already have face tats, so why not Soundcloud?

Then transition from "that percy miller" back to the starting "Vampire" in the verse loop is kinda jarring/awkward. Its kinda like the V was cut off completely and its restarting half way through the "a" sound. I really like the backing effects though, especially on the last stretch, kinda reminds me of Castlevania games.

Yeah, when I put the flaco sample back to back I had a hard time getting each consecutive one to sound on time, but I wanted to use the sample so bad that I just decided to say fuck it and get it as close as possible with the end sounding more chaotic. As far as Castlevania goes, I wish I would've thought of sampling the organs from that. I fucking love those games.

I do admire you getting organised to record stuff and put it up on Soundcloud though - grats on that!

Thanks. I once tried doing the old school thing with being in a few metal bands. Turns out getting 3-5 people to agree on what something should sound like is more difficult than learning how to play the guitar in the first fucking place. I had more fun busking tbh. Electronic shit is way cheaper anyways.
 
It’s a lot of sound, I think as a full beat it works. But I am thrown into it right away, and it feels overwhelming. I think there should be some kind of build up or intro.

Also I didn’t like when it slowed down, that part felt like full meme mode.

It's not for everyone that's for sure. It's actually FOR me, but it's still amusing to see how people react to it. I appreciate the honesty "full meme mode" lol.
 
Its an interesting idea, getting very slight witchhouse vibes off it
I like the intro bit,and the first half and i guess even the slowed part is allright after re-hearing it few times.

One thing that kinda bothers me is that in the back it sounds like there is way too much going on,and alot of sounds overlapping each other

But hey, keep it up and progress , curious for future stuff

Witchhouse is a huge influence for me and you'll get that from most of my beats

What's funny is that I recently lost a few years worth of work because I didn't make backups. That's part of the reason why I decided to upload to soundcloud, but I'll actually re-create some of it. Those older beats are actually way better than this one lol.

Hello,
Im a rapper and beatmaker myself from sweden. Lol, when I do beats that i don´t have any planed lyrics to, I also just like you take some acapela rap and put it in on a very low tone xD I think the beat is cool, it sounds alot like the stuff im making xD You should throw in some self written lyrics you made in there. I think it will end up really cool :)
