How did this happen? Pizza does it all the time and I don't think it's the stealth detection goggles, those only work when you are nearby, not far away.

Is it the catseye goggles combined with the potion of heitened senses or something?

When you target a rogue before he uses stealth u can sometimes still have them as a target even when they enter stealth (1-3 sec) and still get moonfire off. It's not hard to do, but most people don't have the awareness to dot a rogue before he can enter stealth.

This is most likely not ur case, but earlier today i came across and odd bug ive never seen, was in wsg and targeted a rogue at his gy while i was at my tunnel entrance, i was able to see him, his nameplate and everything as if he wasnt stealthed (~100 yards+). As i approached him, he had no idea i could i see him, however as i tried moonfiring him out it would not allow me until i approached ~8 yards as if i just caught him out of stealth. Very odd, never seen this, the only thing i can think after thinking back on it is i targeted the rogue exactly as he stealthed, not a milisecond before or after.

It happened at the start of an Eots when I went towards DR. It wasn't a case of being hit right after I stealthed he just saw me from the point I crossed the bridge while he sat up top on base.

And you are saying he does it all the time that late? I've played druid for a long time and maybe once have I had that happen. Like I said, you can sometimes have a rogue/druid targetted and moonfire them a few seconds after they've entered stealth, but 15 seconds seems a bit retarded to have that occur often.

Ive also noticed that when hunters shoot before you stealth it now unstealths if it hits after you cast which can be pretty annoying. I didnt play in legion but this wasn’t the case in mop/wod, you just took the damage and remained stealth.

THIS. I was in a game LAST NIGHT and i played as a hunter. I saw a rouge that looked like he was out of stealth and he was in range so i tried to dot him before he could "stealth" but the red error message came up that said "invalid target". I thought it was very odd so to test it i quickly switched to a different nearby ememy and i could shoot him no problem. At this point i switched back to the rogue to attempt to dot him again and still the same error message came up. I didnt know what the hell was going on and then i watched the rogue sap someone and realized that the game must have screwed up because after he sapped my team mate all my other team mates ran RIGHT past the rogue as if they didnt see him. The rogue then continued towards a base (this was a game in EOS) and i saw him cheap shot and started attacking a different team mate. I followed the rogue up to the base and tried attacking him the whole time and then once he opened on that second team mate of mine i could attack him... I think randomly people can just see rogues in stealth...not sure what causes it.

After a second, stealthed players will reveals themselves when within a few feet in front of you. I tend to tab-spam (insert instant ranged attack here) which will reveal careless stealthies.
